We loved this place , but
Seems we got food poisoning from a meal 10/25 served by new management .
I went by to let Steve know we were concerned.
He blew me off ,,,,

The new blue fish management now provides much more affordable and high quality seafood and great sushi. Recently ate there again and I must say it was terrific.

Despite receiving a 2-star review, our experience was more deserving of a 1-star rating. However, the issues we faced are straightforward to address.
We arrived at roughly 7 and were promptly sat. Placed our entire order (including drinks) within 10 minutes, ordering 2 appitizers and 3 rolls. The drinks and 1 appetizer came out within 5 mins. 45 mins later we still had not received any part of the our remaining order, nor had the wait staff checked in on us. I remarked to my wife that if the next order of food was delivered to a table other than ours, we'd just pay for what we received and leave. 2 tables nearby began to receive their food (they had walked in at least 30 minutes after us), so I decided enough was enough.
As I walked to the register area, the chef must've noticed I wasn't particularly thrilled and seemed to ask the others if we had ordered anything. I requested to pay for the two drinks and tiny plate of gyoza that was brought to our table. There was a moment where the chef fumbled through his ticket punch, presumably to find our ticket. He then walked over to override the register, so that our bill could be adjusted to reflect the items that were never prepared. Shortly after, he realized it was better to void any charges and let us me know we would not be charged at all. I politely (and quietly as not to alert other customers) suggested to the wait staff that if they had even attempted to check-in on us in the last 45-50 minutes, this could've been resolved.
The food might be really good, we just didn't have the opportunity to try much of it. And even though we won't be back, hopefully this experience will be a learning opportunity for the wait staff so that this experience doesn't happen again for future customers.

Tried to support the new owner. But when you are given the wrong and mistakenly pay it. My bad. It takes 30 minutes for the correct bill. The new bill comes and they over charged us and the excuses began. After being ignored for another 20 minutes, I had to talk over the staff for my new bill only to be told that if they bothered the chef they would be yelled. So, I had to ask the chef for my revised bill and it finally arrived. I was given nothing for the hassle but excuses. I was very vocal and apologized to the table next to me and his response was “they could have offered you a cold beer.” On my way out I told the chef that this was a disaster and he replied “thank you.” The chef is not leading or training his team and the staff that have work there for years are failing as well.

Walked in for the first time to just grab a roll or two and run off to an appointment. The server and sushi chef were incredibly nice, and we had our rolls and were ready to go in 5 minutes! The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The rolls are AMAZING! Quality ingredients really can make a difference, and for such a good price! The chef even gave us an extra deep fried roll and it was probably the best sushi I have ever had. New favorite sushi place for sure!

The food is fantastic and love the thick pieces of sushi! Super fresh and beautifully presented. Service was really slow but assuming it is growing pains due to the soft opening. Please don’t change the food!!

The fish was so thick with cartilage. I didn’t finish either of my rolls.

We are regulars here, and just getting around to eating our favorite place in town. We are originally from LA and SF before that. Bluefish is some of the best sushi we have had. It's wonderful.
