Continuing my quest to try all the little restaurants here in Sonoma County. I woke up with a craving for Chilaquiles Rojas con Chorizo and this place did not disappoint. The crunchy yet soft tortillas and fresh ingredients were fantastic, the sauce had a nice burn and amazing flavor. It's a little pricey, but that's to be expected in Santa Rosa. The atmosphere is chill and decorative. Expansive menu. Clean restrooms, and very friendly staff. I'll definitely be trying this place again.

The food is absolutely delicious.
I love this place. Nice and relaxing place for breakfast. I had a sausage breakfast burrito that must of weighed 5 lbs. The customer texted to me had the chilaquiles in a green sauce

Got a a good tabel right away, with a smile and a friendly hello. The server asked if I wanted Mexican coffee. I have never tried that so yes let's try it. I liked it very much. It's like horchata, with less sugar and strong black coffee. So now that will be my next obsession, who has the best Cafe de olla. And my Denver omelette plenty of big chunks of fresh veggies and diced ham.

Second time here. First time for breakfast and this time for lunch. The food has been consistently very good, with generous portions.
I got the Ortega burger this time and it was a 3 napkin meal. I loved every bite.

Food was great! But service needs to improve. Waited for refills on coffee. Food took over 45 to an hour wait for food. Once Food arrived it was great! But only got checked in on once while Food was served. Had to get up and ask for to go boxes and bill, when we noticed our server eating at a table. Maybe ordering food to go is best?....

Okay where to start, I guess from the beginning when we walked in. Walked in and were give us a minute. After nearly 10 minutes standing there (mind you there were plenty of tables available) and watching like 4 workers at the 1 register I finally spoke up and asked could we be seated. They finally seated us and gave us the menus. After almost 20 minutes (I kid you not) I had to literally call out to the group of servers I saw near the kitchen and ask if someone could please come take our order. Apparently nobody assigned our table smh. We finally got our order taken and it took 40 minutes to get our food. And our order was wrong. We asked for 2 chilaquiles divorciados and they brought us the upcharged compadres plate which was $25.99 when we had ordered the basic which was almost $9 cheaper. When I brought it to their attention the girl tried to talk her way out of it and said they couldn't do a divorciados plate without making it the more expensive version, I explained I didnt want the one with the $9 steak and after back and forth she took my plate and took the steak off and brought me back my plate. The woman at the end maybe it was a manager comped my plate which I didnt even end up eating from how annoyed I was. We will never be back. Beware of the long wait time . It took us 40 minutes to get our food after finally ordering.

I recommend the chilaquiles compadres plate with a cafe de la olla. Really good, tastes homemade. It’s a big plate so make sure you’re hungry.

We felt taken advantage of because the server asked what side I wanted rather than did I want to add a side. The potatoes was $7 and the toast was $5 for toast. A total of $12 extra. We brought it to there attention before paying and they would not accommodate. The menu says it comes with potatoes and toast. Would not go back, no customer service at all.
It was just ok
