Went here for dinner Friday evening with my fiancé. Were given menus and told we could sit where ever we wanted. It took 20 minutes waiting in the 85 degree weather and being 37 weeks pregnant, for the waitress to come and greet us, when she came, we didn’t even have water but we’re expected to order right away. The food was not good. I had cheese ravioli with pesto, it was so oily you cloud hardly eat it. My finance had the spaghetti, which also was not good, very plain. This big party came in a little after us and were greeted with smiles and wine right away, full attention from all staff. It was a very unsettling experience. We had to go and ask for our check because we were not checked on one time. We will not be back.
I was looking for for lunch
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere
The restaurant was a delight from the moment we walked through the door, it felt like we were in a pizzeria in Italy. The charming owner Ray was part of the amazing experience. We were only sat for a few minutes when he brought my daughter and some wine. The pizzas were out of this world. We had one with sausage and pepperoni and the other was devine was vegetarian with truffle oil, it was phenomenal. Everything about this restaurant was superb. The staff were great even though we had a grouchy 11 year old with us. The pizza even turned her frown upside down. If you happen to be in Santa Rosa and you want a slice of heaven I mean pizza, this is the place for you.
The service is great and the flavor of the food is really good but the rice in my peppers wasn’t cooked and my husband’s raviolis and our meat ball appetizer were cold and raw.
This is an incredibly awesome restaurant! We got a bunch of different things, so that each of us could sample them, and MY GOODNESS, everything was wonderful!!
Excellent food! Great, friendly service! Nice casual atmosphere with some outside tables.
Sarah was an amazing accordion concert with many players, great food, wine and a beautiful time. They hosted us just wonderfully.

Waited over an hour for mediocre Italian food, don’t come here if you value your time at all.

Super friendly service and great food!! We really liked the outdoor patio seating. Loved the green salad, margarita pizza, and aperol spritz.

Horrible service. Over an hour to get our food. No apology. Server never came to check on us after taking order. Dropped food and never even offered Parmesan! When I said something, after being charged an automatic 20% gratuity, they said sorry, but offered nothing else. Will never go here again and will tell our friends not to return.

Food and drink were delicious. Very cool to see traditionally prepared buffalo mozzarella. Cute place with the best staff and owner. Highly recommend to all!

I’ve had one *phenomenal* dinner at cibo, with great atmosphere and food, and the owner wandering around topping off glasses of wine, and two absolutely *terrible* dinners. Pizzas out of the oven with unmelted cheese. The wrong wine brought out twice - once by the bottle and once by the glass. Servers who return 15 minutes later to say they are out of X. Half the table served entrees 20-30 minutes before the other half. I wish this restaurant was as good as I desperately want it to be. It could be great. One time it was. Other times I’d rather have ordered dominoes. At least then I’d get what I paid for.

Service was terrible. Made a reservation for 2 people at 6:15pm, we got there exactly on time and were sat immediately. We were brought water, menus and a sample of wine. After that, no one even looked in our direction until we got up and left at 6:40pm. No one even came by to say, “sorry we’re busy, we’ll be with you soon.” Highly disappointing as their food looked and smelled amazing.

Food was good but not great, 4/5. Pizza took longer than expected (compared to other non-chain Italian restaurants who served a bit better pizza). Our server was polite but we regularly felt like we were being rushed, and this was odd since less than half of the tables were occupied. If she was worried about reservations that would come later, there would be seats available. 1st instance of being asked if we were done, my kids and husband were still obviously eating. 2nd instance I understand as my daughter, who was not yet done, needed to take a restroom break and was not at her seat at that point. My daughter comes back from the restroom, said she wanted to pack her food, so we started to add her leftover meatballs to one box and in the process, our server again asks for the 3rd time if we were done. My daughter had several pieces of ravioli on her plate that she wanted to pack for home too, but before we could respond, our server took the plate already. I did not say anything anymore at this point since the server seemed pretty determined to move us along. Decor and ambience was nice, but that sense of being rushed was just overpowering, considering we had not bugged her for the pizza prep taking longer than expected, and no, I am not comparing the pizza prep time to pizza fastfood chains but to Italian restaurants similar to Cibo.
