I'll be honest, the decor is whack and the music choice is bizzare, but this is one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. The eggs Benedict are scrumptious, and the biscuits and gravy are exceptional. The country potatoes are delicious. Service is also surprisingly quick for a sit down breakfast spot. If you need a quick hearty breakfast I recommend this place.

The ambiance in this restaurant is very odd decor is a little all over the place and just kinda bizarre looking with red walls, Indiana Jones style signs and low hanging lamps almost touching the table. Service was okay and waiter was quick with refills and all that jazz. Food was okay but for fifty dollars I would rather go else where for breakfast. Not at all terrible but nothing special.

Updating my review.. My last review I docked this restaurant a star because we were charged for coffee & tea refills, which we found out was a mistake, my husband called them and explained what happened and they said that was an error and next time he comes in to let them know and they will credit back the $8.00 to the meal. He went there this weekend with his buddies and they comped him his entire meal, very nice but he wasn't expecting them to do that. The customer service is excellent and again so is the food. Please go and enjoy this food you'll be full and happy.

The server wasn't to polite, and in thinking hungover. Then half the food came out luke warm. The water girl was super nice though. I've never in my 34yr of life been to a BREAKFAST spot that charged gratuity like a 5star restaurant, esp. It wouldn't of been a issue if the food and service matched. I been eating in Santa rosa all my life. Never once has a bill been 200$ for 5 adults . This place is, dark, and dingy, then the neighborhood locals, who were there were old Karen's. They were rude to my wife for opening door to bring our child in the stroller in. That said these ladies were 15ft from the door as well. The steak and eggs my wife received were mostly fat. My chicken fried steak was luke warm at best , and was my sister. After we left and just got to Costco and my wife and sister let just say had to use the restroom bad.

It's hard to give 5 stars for a breakfast, but this was certainly a very good breakfast, with OUTSTANDING BISCUITS and 5 STAR SERVICE. We all had variations of the usual fare and we all left happy.

I was in the mood for BBQ but ending up getting one of their daily specials ( Steak & Lobster). Steak was cooked as ordered & the lobster was perfect served with a very tasty cream sauce. Our server Octavio was efficient, friendly & attentive. The strip mall could use some outside lighting, with a cloudy winter night the whole mall looked like it was closed but that is a landlord issue. I definitely will return for dinner again and see if I get the BBQ and not be swayed by another daily special.

Colibri has been recommended to us several times now. Even from friends who say they drive up from Rohnert Park just to eat here and go back home. We stopped by for my birthday breakfast since it was on a Tuesday and would most likely be slow. As we predicted, it was! It was nice not to have to deal with a weekend rush while experiencing Colibri for the first time. The first thing I noticed was their prices. They seem a lot higher than some of our other favorite breakfast spots. Due to that, we only ordered one plate each instead of ordering a few things to share. I ordered the eggs benedict and Dan ordered the hot link benedict. Dan said it was the best benedict he's ever had (and we LOVE benedicts). I thought mine was just okay. I would like to come back and try more of the dishes. The cheese thing sounded amazing but sweet. The pancake options also had my mouth watering. As for the spot itself, it seems to have a little bit of an identity crisis. I'm not sure what vibe it's trying for cause there are so many things going on. The menu is all over the place, not really a specialized menu. The decor is interesting and some of the decorations looks like things purchased after a lodge style place closed. Luckily the food is good and the service is quick! Our waiter was super nice and answered all of our questions. We will be back

Stopped by the Colibri Grill Cafe the other day and took home some of the tenderest, most delicious baby back ribs I have ever had. Yum! Looking forward to coming in early someday soon and checking out their awesome breakfast menu. Thanks to Brandon for the recommendations and great service!

I recently enjoyed breakfast there and found the food to be very good. The over medium eggs came just as I ordered them, bacon was crisp and hash browns were crunchy on the outside, just like I like them. I'm sorry to say the biscuit was a big let-down so next time I'll order toast instead. The food was hot when it arrived, service was friendly and attentive. On a different visit I had the french dip sandwich and it was delicious. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that stop you. Inside is clean and the food is good.

Wow. New years eve. Decided to go here after being on my list of restaurants to try for a long time. Were received by the staff as if we were long lost friends. Upon hearing that it was our first time, they told us that every thing was home made. And judging by the quality of the food, I really believe this. I loved the staff and service. The place was really jumping. We had chorizo scramble with home fries (perfect) and the most tasty biscuit I have ever had. My partner had a veggie sandwich (perfect) with hollandaise sauce (perfect) and hash browns. We had 3 cups of coffee and both cleaned our plates as if it was our last meal. I've become a loyal customer because I love that restaurants such as these appreciate their following. Also, the biscuits are out of this world!!!

1st time there. A friend told me about it. Breakfast on a Thursday morning. Not sure what to expect. And we were wowed! Freshly & perfectly baked biscuits with their homemade jelly & butter! Had a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries & biscuit. Everything was delicious. Brandon the owner's son came to the table a couple of times to let us know about the restaurant & how long it has been there near Howarth Park on Mendocino. I highly recommend you check it out. Super pleased. We are going back next week to try the coffee/pear pancakes. Yes, you read that right! Unique! Our server was also very nice. Sorry we did not get his name.

Man we are bummed. First want to say that the service was great here and no reflection of the kitchen hence the 1 stars. What we thought was a standard dinner order of french dip and the steak and prawns, turned out to be what seemed like the kitchen trying to get rid of old meat. The french dip meat was sour and the au jus was freezer burned, served on a hard roll. The steak was overcooked and topped with 2 shrimp which would be ok but not as a $30 dish. The steak and prawns was doused in a sauce that attempted to hide the old tasting meat I gather. Needless to say, we wont be back.

(Trying not to be overly dramatic), but I honestly feel their BBQ Hash Benedict makes Colibri Grill worthy of a Michelin Star.
