First of all you have to pay $2 extra for vegan. Had the rainbow nachos and one of the bowls. Would have tasted like nothing if it didn't have a sauce so all it really tasted like with sauce. Definitely could have made this better at home, disappointing.
This used to be a landmark vegan restaurant surrounded by a kitchen garden. My gf and I dreamt of it often since we live very far away. We finally get a chance to get here again, with a detour, and we're shocked to find out that there is new management, that they stole the brand, moved location, and it's now "a new American restaurant" where there are 5 vegan items (appetizers the usual crap at non-vegan places). Oh sure you can make everything vegan for an extra $2 per item. Meanwhile their instagram is all about fake steak and gouda. They're trying to keep what made them 11x prize winners without actually serving the food that made them that. Disappointment is an understatement. We couldn't eat there. So sad what's happening to veganism is California. Updated from previous review on 2025-10-27
They only serve tacos on Sundays and price them at $16 for two. For the size of the tacos that is way too high.
When they first opened on Santa Rosa it was great and loved going but the longer it’s been the more corners they’ve cut and price has gone up. They also aren’t vegan anymore and post weird pro police propaganda on their social media it’s weird
They recently went from all vegan to all vegan or can vegetarian that can be made vegan for $2 more. Servings are very generous, food is excellent. Not a fancy place by any means. You order at the register and they bring it to your table. You don't go there for the atmosphere, but for an excellent meal.
This had been a fully vegan, fast food cafe. I had come here anywhere from twice a week to several times a month, even though I do not live in the same town. There were actually only several dishes that I ordered, but I still came to support one of the few fully vegan restaurants in the county. Now that they are not fully vegan, they have lost my biz. The prices are high and the frequent deep-fried oily smell, if you have to sit in the front half of this small cafe, can nauseate me. Thankfully, there are plenty of other "mixed" restaurants where I can order better-prepared and better- tasting vegan dishes. It is just not worth going there for me, anymore. This place is 🔥 Super chill spot with amazing vegan food. I highly recommend ordering the nachos with double protein… perfect for sharing!
It doesn’t look like much and the prices are a bit high, but biting into the food it’s clearly worth it. Worth a diversion.
On our way north from SF to Mendocino we took a slight detour west to visit this restaurant. I had a really delicious and really huge Cozy Crunch Burrito. It was well packed with tasty ingredients including soy meat. The chips wrapped inside gave it a nice crunch. I managed to finish but I stayed sated well beyond dinner. Nice little place with adequate seating. Friendly service. Check it out.
Also tasted the Carne Asada burrito, delicious. Friendly service small place big portions and easy parking nearby

The food is amazing. I love the stuffed jalapeños. The Mushroom Gouda burger was fall-apart yummy. It wasn’t obvious the first time I ate here but it is posted. The menu prices are cash-only, so they add a small percent when you pay with a card so they can recoup their fees.
We love going here for lunch and splitting an entree. They have huge portion sizes.
Phenomenal vegan restaurant, this place *is* all-vegan, they used to be vegetarian. All the food looked delicious, learned that their vegan cheeses are made from soy and pea-protein. The mushroom burger was to die for, it was a juice-dripping dream. The veggie focaccia is the perfect light fare lunch. Also a heads up - the prices on the menu are for cash-paying guests, expect an extra 1.50 per item if paying by card. My one ding on the stars here is that it is quite expensive and the portions are smaller than you’d expect. It’s also a semi-casual setting so you’re paying a lot (even for Sebastapol) for some amazing food that takes very little time to finish/eat.
I loved this place! So many great vegan options, and the staff was sweet too. I also signed up for their rewards program and got 10% off my first order.
Nachos and chipotle chicken sandwich were both delicious.
