Owner is very personable and willing to please. We work nearby once a week and have ordered the taquitos when we need some lunch. Always good. Always plenty.

Great taqueria for a quick bite to eat. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options to choose from. Remember the McDougall diet? There's a whole menu for that.

Best service, just the food tastes off. I'm not sure what they use for seasoning, it just doesn't taste right. Tried multiple times and multiple dishes, I cant get around how all the food has this distinct taste that messes with the flavor. I really don't know, don't recommend. But, I absolutely love the service!

Dwarfed by new construction accross the street and situated next to Fremont Park, El Patio #2 has been serving up great Mexican food for many years. Service with a smile, the prices are affordable and that keeps me coming back. You can eat inside or outside with more than ample seating. My wife really likes their Chile Rellenos. I think the burritos and combination plates are great.

The food was bland. The green sauce had an excessive amount of garlic. The red sauce tasted like marinara sauce. Both sauces were not spicy and they were actually watery. Many pieces of meat were burnt and over cooked. The place was empty and they still took thirteen minutes to deliver the food.

The MacDougall menu options let you know you're going to be eating healthy food. It could use more flavor though. I had the MacDougall Deluxe Burrito. It contains beans, rice and an array of steamed vegetables wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and served with pico de gallo. It was good but really needed some flavor enhancement. Just a little cilantro or a hint of cumin would make a big difference. We thought maybe we could up the flavor with hot sauce but the brand they had available was just hot and didn't add any real flavor. Still, being able to get healthful food in a restaurant is important enough to warrant three stars.
