Classic Rosa bar. It's been around forever for good reason. No better place for late night cocktails east of downtown.

Saturday I stopped by for a beer around 7:30 while waiting for my laundry. As I walked in, I noticed something written in chalk on the chalkboard. The atmosphere felt a bit off, with patrons giving the "stop n stare" though it might have just been me. The crowd was a mix of Latinos and older White folks, and the wait staff didn't seem very welcoming. As a Black guy, I wasn't sure if that was a factor, but I drank my beer quickly and left.
Update: Your response fails to address the chalkboard message in your establishment. Now reading the other reviews it seems there's an issue with your patrons behavior, which the establishment condones. I shared this experience with my mixed-race friend today she also experienced the same when she entered folks turned and stared at her with a group of people. Her and the group decided to stay playing mariachi music on the jukebox, only to be asked to stop to avoid scaring other patrons.

Will never come to this place bunch of old racist people specially when you don’t look like them and to top it off this was written on the wall. If I could give this place -0 stars I would horrible atmosphere.

Don’t ever come here unless you plan on getting harassed by locals. Been here twice. Huge mistake coming the second time. Never again.

Great place to watch a game. Wish they served food!
Pretty good spot.
Friendly neighborhood bar. The social dynamic tends to change on weekend evenings. Besides the fluidness, it seems like a relatively friendly place and even sports 2 pool tables. Staff was great.
