Out of business.
Closed for good!
I love this place. I heard they were closing, which makes my wife and I so sad. We had our wedding reception there and they made it perfect. We got to come back a couple of times too, and they made it memorable each time. We don't live in the area anymore but wish them well in the next chapter.
Franchetti's has been like home.....they treat you like family. The food is wonderful, the menu so unique that you can't truly compare the experience to anything else you may have had before. Sad to see them closing but who knows what the future may bring! The proprietors, Gesiene and John may yet surprise us....and we will be there, if they do!
Such wonderful German comfort food!
Big portions, great service, great food. Highly recommend
Best food, service and owners you can find! We will miss them very much as they have been part of our family outings for 10 years.
So sad to hear it's closing!
I would have never guessed it was a restaurant. Great food and beer. Of course the schnitzel is great
I loved the food-a little bit of German goodness right here in our backyard!

We have wanted to try this place for a while. It’s such a random spot for a restaurant, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We got some drinks that were good, large variety of drinks and especially beer to choose from. The decor was so cute and there were a lot of seating options. The schnitzel was good, breading was a bit thick and the fries were just average! We will probably come back though because there is such a fun variety of menu items.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. We order appetizers and 3 entrees to share across four of us... Everything was good - Short Ribs, Brat Plate, Schnitzel etc.

I have to say this might be the most disappointing Gasthaüs I’ve ever been to— I understand supplies can run low, but it’s Oktoberfest and you’re somehow out of Hofbrau? Interesting. I ordered the Marzen beer and was handed a Weissbier, then informed they were out of the Marzen. It was replaced with a Dunkel.
The Nurnberger sausage were the most redeeming factor of the meal, albeit serving a plate of sausage without mustard seems criminal I can confidentially say this place is German in name only. Don’t get me started on the eggs— “over medium” I asked, best they could do was cook my yolks firm, meh. The potato cake was more like a pile of soft unflavored potato with a crispy top.
I would be more forgiving of the place was packed but 1130am on a Sunday the place is dead and the quality food seems to explain why.
Sorry Franchettis but your Gasthaüs ist nicht gut.
Update: manager spoke with me when I left, because I had most of my food on the plate leftover and wasn’t interested in a box. She asked me about my experience and was very receptive. They offered a gift card or a beer on the house, which is very kind, but I’m only passing through and wasn’t interested in another beer I don’t like. Maybe my experience was a one-off, but I am apprehensive. Still, the staff was kind, regardless of the quality of food. There are better places to get your sausage fix.
Parking: On Sunday there is a church in the same commercial park, be prepared to leave your car a half a mile away on the street nearby.
