Very nice, very popular spot. Excellent bartenders. Matthew in particular is amazing. I find it very pricey, but Excellent. They do have a very popular happy hour.

Usually like to come here . Cozy place for a rainy day.4 of us arrived and there was an empty table near the fireplace. Perfect . BUT , tho it's open seating, we were not allowed to sit there. We were told it was saved for 5-6 people. We were ushered to the "sun room" which was cold with no sun. We stayed 1.5 hours and when we left the table near the fire remained empty. Our service was poor. We were ignored and had to flag down the server for everything.

This was our first visit to the Front Room, and it was great! We sat at the bar for Happy Hour (3-5p) and enjoyed delicious drinks and then ordered the fish tacos (added avocado at the suggestion of the bartender), and they were fantastic...so good that we ordered more. We shared an order of oysters...also fresh and yummy. The bartender made great drinks, was pleasant and helpful. We will be back.

Tasty food and wine, in a cozy atmosphere. And, other than the server not asking us if we want water (we did), the hospitality was good. Mi amore, Suzanne, and I will definitely be back!

I stopped in for the last 15 minutes if happy hour. I ordered the fish tacos, and a Negroni. Both had complex and delicious flavors. It was lovely. The bartender was very sweet and patient while I chattered at him about Stanley Tucci and Negroni trivia. I told the bartender that I was killing time before picking up my husband, and he said well this is a great way of doing it. He was so right. It was a very pleasant half hour.

Service can be hit or miss but the atmosphere and food is great. The chairs are getting very worn and uncomfortable to sit on.

Great happy hour. Love what they have done to accommodate people outside. Great tables right near The Vineyards and roses

i will be back with my friends. it has a good interior. similar to a place in denver i loved.
After the Covid reopening, the safety was priority but the usual good food and value diminished to higher prices and little attention to food quallity!

There are more credits to the chef on the menu than items to order. Bite sized portions. The staff wasn't friendly. However, the ambiance is great. nothing remarkable about the flavors.

Always a good experience there

Love coming here for drinks or a quick bite to eat. We live close by and it is definitely the best restaurant near my house. We lost quite a few restaurants in the area, but the food and drinks is always consistently good here. Love coming here

This is the front bar at the delicious John Ash & Sons restaurant located at Vintner's Inn. It is a warm and cozy bar that serves the amazing food from John Ash. I've never been disappointed by the food or service here although occasionally the cocktails could be more upscale in flavors. But don't worry, there is a huge wine selection and being in Sonoma, you know you can't go wrong with that!
