I always enjoy the food here. It's some of the best Chinese Food in Santa Rosa and everything tastes authentic, good, and always freshly made. There's always plenty of parking, never too busy, and the service is impeccable. My favorite part of the restaurant is the bright pink Hannah Montana clock behind the counter, really brings the whole place together.

We eat out a lot, and while I enjoy great food I am rarely surprised by it. (I know, that sounds douchey but just being honest here).
Today was my first time at Hang Ah Dim Sum and, wow, I was surprised.
I have mostly given up on trying to find good Dim Sum north of San Francisco, but I just found a new, go to place when I am craving quality, tasty, fun-to-eat food.
The space looks like a converted Dennys, but is not cheesy or weird, just simple and clean.
The service is all business, polite but no doting and pandering. Just going to politely take your order, fill your water and move on.
If you are looking for fine dining in Santa Rosa go to Starks and John Ash. If you are looking for hot, tasty, hand made in house comfort dim sum at a very reasonable price. come here. It is truly fantastic. I will be back over and over again.
(Sorry I was too excited to take pictures. Here is one steam bun)

Food was bulletproof. Everything was fresh and well done. Baked BBQ pork bun was as good as Eastern Bakery in SF. Shu Mai was a standout. Usually I don't like them, but theirs were on point. They didn't set a bad plate down on the table. Good tea, quick service. Shout-out to the server with drip levels unseen before waiting tables in a jeweled out kith shirt and diesel jeans.

I am old enough to remember when this was an A&W Root beer drive-in, complete with car hops! But now...
This is a great place for families to experience and share traditional dim sum in a casual atmosphere. Lots of choices and fast service even when they are busy - which is always!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out and the dining room is spacious enough to accommodate wheelchairs

This is a fantastic restaurant. They went above and beyond to accommodate my large group and my last minute headcount changes. I have been going here for years by myself and with groups. The food is always delicious. Thank you, Hang Ah.
Kid-friendliness: They accommodated families with children with booster seats.

Used to be great. Got rushed yesterday to finish up, grabbing the debit card over our food, food wasn't what it used to be.

Food was authentic Chinese with an extensive menu. We were there on a Tuesday night. They were serving Dim Sum. I was expecting the traditional dim sum carts, however, it was "order from dim sum menu and waiter bring to your table' kind. But the food was good. This place has been here for quite a long time so quality and consistency is still there.

The food here is excellent! I frequent Hang Ah Dim Sum at least once a week lately because the food is incredible and the delivery ALWAYS comes quickly and hot.
It’s one of few local places that is ALWAYS consistent with both food, quality and service.
If I’m this pleased with the delivery, I can only imagine how great everything is in person.

I'd give this a no star if I could. Just ate here two days ago and was the worst they tried serving me the same plate that had hair inside, along with what seems to be the owner had the worst attitude and was yelling at me with attitude and tried shutting me out worst of the worst. She also made me wait outside while others came in and sat down. Never coming back again.

The person was very rude and it took a long time with the service. They brought some dishes first and took a long time with the other orders.

Their steamed pork buns are to die for. I usually get 3 orders of them and call it a meal. One of the least-greasy Chinese restaurants in town.
