On 4/6/24 my husband and I went to Hang Ah Dim Sum. Upon arrival, we were sat with menus. Shortly after we were ready to order but no waitress. Eventually (more than 10 minutes) I was able to waive down a server to request our drinks and order but before we could order another server appeared. In an unacceptable rude demeanor she said we could sit and wait or leave. Totally offended by her rudeness we left. We were more than patient and polite. Avoid this establishment!

Super authentic! The best place to get dim sum this far from the bay! And the ready of the food is great too, everything is delicious.

OK. I've NEVER posted a rating on anything ever. But I feel compelled to give a shout out to Hang Ah. I dined there this evening with some friends. The food was delicious. The service very good. The decor wasn't luxorious, but perfectly servicable and confortable. Here's the thing: When we were walking out to our cars after dinner one of the waiters came running out of the restaurant shouting that one of us had dropped something on the floor. When he caught up to us he showed us a hundred dollar bill and a fifty dollar bill (they happened to be mine). Of course that was the right thing to do, but my guess if that it's also a rare thing to do. So thanks Hang Ah for shoring up my faith in humanity!

This is the best dim sum in the area! The most authentic if you ask me. I didn't get a picture of everything because it was devoured! Salted fish fried rice and sui Mai is the best of the best! 5 stars! It's really busy usually right when they open but lunch time was great. Plenty of tables and no wait! They have also have a great chilli oil to complement their dishes! Inside is pretty typical looking Chinese restaurant, nothing fancy but with plenty of seating and parking can get tricky during busy times. This is a great go too for satisfying a dim sum craving.

So awesome so good! Loved all the dim sum so much. I would recommend this place to anyone especially the shrimp dumplings, shrimp noodle rolls, and the shrimp balls!!!

So glad to find a solid dim sum option in the North Bay! Great service and tasty food. Our favorites were the Har gow, rice noodle roll, and shiu mai. We’ll likely be back! While there’s a sign that says drive thru, it doesn’t seem that the drive thru is open anymore.

Busy location so food must be okay. They forgot our fortune cookies in the order. That can be very disappointing.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes may be prepared on surfaces that have prepared meat as well. You can always ask before you order. Staff is friendly.

When the service is good in this place, the dim sum can't be beat! Amazing potstickers, pork buns, and egg custard buns. Hot and Sour soup is excellent as is the moo shu pork.

I have come here around 5 times. But my fifth time was the best dinner so far. I ordered: 1. Seafood Yi Mein (everybody have to try this. Wow, it's underrated, the texture of the noodles is different, really good!. They use scallop in the seafood, high quality). Try to add a little bit of White Pepper (on your table) on your noodle. So good 2. Salted Fish chicken eggplant claypot (my god, this is really tasty, yummy, all of you have to give it a try) Eat with rice 3. Crispy Turnip Cake (reaally good! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and really tasty) Have to dip with the chili oil. 4. Braised Beancurd rolls (it's good too, the beancurd absorb all the sauce, tasty!) 5. Glutinous Rice Dumpling (it's really good! Puffy, crispy outside, Chewy, with pork filling inside) Dip with chili oil 6. Har Gow (it's good, classic dimsum item) always dip with chili oil

They put peanut sauce in their pork buns. Not a problem if you aren't allergic but obviously it is when you are. We found this out the hard way and it was not stated in their menu. Even after the reaction, it took a while to get a straight answer from their chef that yes, they actually do use mashed up peanuts to make the meat.

I would give this a 4.5 or higher. Just not quite a five. I always think it's fun to try a bunch of different dim sum and then walk away stuffed. This place succeeded well in that regard. Perfectly, priced, good portions. Service was somewhat detached, but they got the food out efficiently. Some things were delicious, like the shrimp balls. Some needed a touch more seasoning to make the flavor pop. A fun night with good food.

We would not return- poor service. Server gave us incorrect dishes a couple of times-we had to call them back to take it away. No organization. Dim Sum - really had high hopes for this restaurant but sadly the food was bland and previously frozen.

Authentic dim sum, something that is virtually unobtainable elsewhere here in Sonoma County
