Sorry to say the 4 star ratings are for the previous ownership. We caught the new management on their first day but still no excuse for a quesadilla with hardly any cheese! We won't be coming back.

The place got sold to a washed up mexican food spot, not as good as it used too be. I used to love this place they used too have good burritos and tacos were actually "homemade tortillas" . I dont think they are now but the burrito was garbish!

I was working off stoney point up the street and saw this nearby. Asked a few of the guys on the crew if they had it and they all gave good reviews so I figured it was my civil duty to check them out.. theyre in a small shopping center, decent parking lot size. The decor is pretty basic and minimal. Seems like a business just starting up but I could be wrong. The menu has a few catchy item names for slightly tweaked foods that id have to give a go next time around. I did what I always do in Mexican establishments and that's try every meat in taco form. That way you can figure out their strong points. Even if you're a huge chicken fan and a restaurant has underwhelming chicken but life changing carnitas, you'd never know until you try it amirite? Carnita, al pastor, chicken and asada taco me please.. the asada was more expensive for whatever reason but it wasn't bad at all at least. I'm an al pastor kinda guy and they make it just right, here. I ate in the work truck and regret not bringing my salt shaker but it wouldn't hurt to throw some on the tacos. 3 bones each and asada was 3.75 I think so it added up to 13 dollars roughly. I'm still uncertain on if it was worth it because of the tiny size of the tacos so thats something to be mindful of. Or perhaps there's a more economically sound item on the menu that sits just right with you. The food is good nonetheless and was ready and fresh right on time from my called in order. The young lady that took my order was really nice and there were no mistakes in my order. All in all I'd come back again along with recommending you give them a try.

Friend referred this restaurant not as good and expected. Small selection of food, salsa is very good great spice, priced decent, serves soft drinks and beer.

Y’all need to try this place! Grandma is a G for opening this restaurant and you can taste the love in her food. Shout out to Kayla too for amazing and welcoming customer service. Highly recommend. I mean come on, who doesn’t like fresh homemade tortillas?

Best sopes in Santa Rosa! The al pastor was seasoned perfectly!

This place is one of my favorites. This is not the typical taqueria but instead offers choices unique to the average spot in Sonoma County. The food, in particular the tortillas and breads, are so, so good and obviously made from scratch. Fantastic flavors and generous portions. I am a big fan and suggest you try them out. Enjoy!

The mediocre review is just for their hours on their website and Yelp. I haven't tried their food yet. I gavebit a shot but do yourself a favor and call before you come. Ganted, 8:30 on a Saturday night when the stated hours are 9 is cutting it close. But here I am and they are SO closed. It's a small biz and I get it if it's slow but, please update your hours. Sad face.

Over nine years, I keep upgrading my review with extra stars. Why? Because the people are super friendly and I've fallen in love with their chili rellenos. They serve them with a drink, beans and rice and you can order either one or two rellenos. Take my advice and get the two of them. They are fantastic! Because they're a special and not on the regular menu, I call every single day to see if their cook has made them. Call early because they often sell out. I wish it were on the regular menu!!! All the food is delicious and fresh - and served with homemade tortillas. If they don't have rellenos, I will order carnitas sopes. A fresh corn masa patty is topped with meat, beans, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. Hmm, they're so good! I hate writing about how good this place is because I don't want to wait a long line. Right now, with Covid, there are no lines! If you see chili rellenos listed as a special, GET THEM! They are better than any others I've tried. If no rellenos, then try the carnitas sopes. But no matter what you choose, seriously, you're going to love this place!

I accidentally found this place when I found the literally awful Indian Pizza place in the complex yesterday. I thought, wait what is HOMEMADE TORTILLA? Today I found out & it's a delight!!! Also as an aside, I really need to try FRU-TA which is next door to Homemade Tortilla. I saw on maps there was something called Homemade Tortilla before heading out to my awful Indian Pizza yesterday. So I went there today to pick my order, which was lunch & dinner for husband & myself. **Pampazo** - really good, with potatoes, some kind of homemade bread. Yummy. Chorizo is in it too but I like that it's mostly potatoes rather than chorizo. This was also a brand new Mexican food item for me & it was wonderful. **Tacos** - super tasty! I did not even use the hot sauce on them! And of course their FRESH MADE TORTILLAS. The flavor is delicious!! **Tlacoyo** - wow! You need to order this! It's so delicious!!!! Again, a brand new Mexican food I'd never eaten before, and so glad I did! Though people say there's cheese in it, not sure, definitely refried beans & the nopales, but husband thought they may be jalapenos chopped up. It actually doesn't matter because this is DELICIOUS & you should order it!! **Horchata** - delicious, not overly sugary, just right, perfect for the meal. They also have other agua frescas there like Pineapple, but I did not try it. I am mostly vegetarian husband is a meat eater. Oh and they have Fanta Orange soda. I love orange soda, lots of places don't have it. My advice if you're ordering for lunch & dinner at once, for 2, order another Tlacoyo, and tacos or something else on their great menu. We will return soon!!
