We ordered delivery at 1130pm on a Wednesday for a HUNGRY group of conference attendees. We weren't expecting much b/c we were in wine country, not PIZZA country, but we were UNEXPECTEDLY SURPRISED! This pizza was AMAZING! I want to go back to Santa Rosa, JUST to order this pizza!!!!

Do yourself a favor and get this pizza. I ordered several for a work event and 6 people asked where I got it because they wanted to start getting their pizza from there from now own.
Delicious and not too expensive.

The best pizza in Santa Rosa. It all starts with the dough!

Tried "Da Big Joey's" pizza and it was mediocre. I can tell they used "canned" mushrooms. It was obvious! Fresh mushrooms would taste better.

You walk up, and it's a hole in the wall on the upper floor of a beautiful, older building. Where I'm from, the hole in the wall means a passionate, dedicated cook is going to provide a world-class meal, whatever is on the menu. This held true here. The man behind the counter, I didn't get his name, felt New York. Right from that interaction, I knew this place was going to be the real deal. We ordered two pies. A large cheese and a large Irishman. Each part of this pie came together like a symphony. Dough was flavorful and chewy with the slightest crunch. Sauce that let you taste each spice that went into it. Cheese was put on heavy as you could ever desire. We ate a slice on the way to our spot, so I'm writing this review before biting into the irishman. I respect the flop this pizza. Fold it and enjoy!

Update: atmosphere is still dark, with old wood needing refinishing everywhere. Service was a little better, though It seemed there was only one person working at all until just before we paid. We ordered a small sausage and mushroom pizza, and the crust was unfortunately burnt. Explains why it took much longer than one would expect with no one else in the restaurant.

Original review: Food (Katie's Ginger Binger sandwich) was a little heavy on the sauce, but otherwise quite tasty. The real downside was the slow service. My table (3 people total) waited at least 20 minutes before a server came by with menus (we were seated where we could see the register and any employee in that general area as well as hear the kind of personal conversation between two employees). I'll stick with delivery from Joey's so I know how long I'll be waiting and be comfortable while doing so.

Pizza is pretty good. Don’t order online through their website. They’ll lose your order and you will have to call anyway. They’ll tell you it’s on the way, but really what they mean is they are starting the order now. There are other places that are as good or better for the same price, but more reliable

Pizza is SO GOOD. Located in a historic house in downtown Santa Rosa. It's very cool learning about the house's history. If it isn't busy you might get lucky and be given a tour around the building. There is in house dining and take out and I think they serve slices outside on the weekends. There is a bar downstairs, the Belvedere, that seems pretty exciting on the weekends.

**I am not familiar with bar, but the people that are going in and out seem.like a younger hip crowd. And they always appear to be having fun**

Tony's also delivers pretty late at night in certain zip codes in Rosa . And again the pizza is spectacularly delicious. A+!

Took our son here because he wanted pizza on his birthday. We loved that it's in an old house. The pizza slices are huge and the pesto cheese sticks are delicious. Our waiter was so nice.

First time trying it and it was amazing! $16 and got a great sized pasta bowl, side salad and breadsticks! The breadsticks were original/plain but still fantastic! Placed a mobile order and the cashier was super friendly and was super attentive! Would definitely recommend checking out this place!

Parking: Small parking lot out back!

We got delivery. I was really rooting for this local place especially since they have such a history here in Santa Rosa & so many good google reviews. It is a $25 min for delivery and we live 10 minutes south of the restaurant. There was a $6 delivery fee.

Service: We ordered delivery at 5pm, it took 90 minutes to get to our place. Not awful but not great timing and at one point we thought our order never went through to the restaurant. We called to ask about our order an hour after ordering. The person at the desk said the driver was on their way, and after thirty more minutes we called again, only for them to pick up the phone and then hang up. The driver arrived shortly after and apologized for being late which was very thoughtful and appreciated.

Food: We ordered cheese and Sam’s perfect pairing. The cheese was delicious and I wish we had ordered more! Sam’s pear pizza was interesting but too much flavor all at once. It probably would taste better in a sandwich over a pizza, but I am also sensitive to textures and the Gorgonzola/pear texture over each other wigged me out. We also ordered a small salad - highway robbery. It was tiny and not at all worth the cost ($7!). Finally, the lemonade is super bitter so be prepared! I couldn’t finish the lemonade because it was too bitter and I had no sugar to add to it, but it had a good lemon flavor and I would have loved it sweetened.

Overall: great classics, order for pickup if you’re ready to eat soon & don’t have a large order. When we interacted with employees it was mostly positive.
