Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens

We had the 5 course tasting menu and wine pairing. Absolutely superb.

We were hosted by Jackie who’s very attentive and knowledgeable.

The food was excellent! I mean truly excellent. It complemented the wine perfectly (or is it the other way around? ?) and was cooked by a talented team.

We bought some wine that cannot come home on the plane so we’ll just have to drink it!

Amazing wines and beautiful property but good luck getting service or even some water after spending over $ 200 on wines. The staff is very snobby and know nothing about customer service. We are a group of 6 that buy cases of wine if we like the wines but not here. We were told no available tables but many tables not filled due to cancellations, and never offered. We stayed in the picnic area which is beautiful but won't be back.

Love this winery. Such a beautiful setting. Tastings on the back patio when the weather is nice. Fantastic wine and food pairing! Great wine club pick up parties. Beautiful gardens you can stroll through. Definitely a gem of Sonoma County wine country. And, super conveniently located just of the 101 on the north end of Santa Rosa.

Went there on a girl's trip. Rude staff. Won't return.

Horrible experience! We had the worst service we have ever had. We went as part of a tour group and the staff seemed put out to have to serve us. When we went up for our tastings the server acted like we were trying to get freebies when it was in fact part of our ticket. When we asked to purchase a glass instead of one of the tastings, the server literally rolled eyes. I would skip this experience and go to another winery, we had excellent experience at several others.

Their winery is pretty and their wine is good but the customer service is horrific. They are rude, condescending, and lack the whole hospitality aspect that a winery should have. I would not return

We did the wine tasting and garden tour, which I highly recommend!!!
Matthew showed us everything in the garden and answered all our questions - then set us up at a fabulous table where Tara took over for our wine tasting!
It was so much fun!

Needs to be more accommodating.
Walked in excited, super nice, and laughing. The place is borderline empty and they said they were full up and could not accommodate pouring 2 glasses of wine and was "outside the scope of their business model"... Hey Kendall you will make more money and more people happy pouring glasses to people who walk in.

Don't get me wrong the place is nice, but we don't need more stress in our lives or people telling me I can't participate because I'm not part of your 1% club. You could have made 2 people happy and had super nice people talking to folks on site but instead you said thanks but no thanks.

Time to change your mindset.

You tried to fact check me without looking at your own website. You do not say on the home page or the visit us page "we do not serve by the glass". We went to several places that day and weekend that served by the glass with zero issue. Sometimes you don't want to buy a bottle 1 person likes red the other white... Anyway. Not changing my opinion.

But make sure you review the website "in full" before considering this place.

A perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful gardens, beautiful landscapes. Very specialized service.

An amazing experience with amazing wine! An extra shout out to our amazing host - George! He really took the extra mile to make my birthday special. I highly recommend this place for any occasions (and non-occasions) you may have. What’s not to love between amazing wines, amazing ambiance, and amazing service?

Make sure to reserve at least 2 hours to fully enjoy everything they offer. The setting is beautiful, and the staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. If you’re a wine lover or simply looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, Kendall-Jackson is the place to be!

Not only is this a great place to tasting wine, but their patio setting is also very relaxing. There are various varieties of grapes in the vineyard, and they will tell you which grapes are used to make wine. This is a great place to improve your knowledge and sensibility about wine.

So I’m coming up to Sonoma for my birthday enjoying a bike tour around the county. I booked my reservation only to find out when I arrived that Tock defaulted me to the next day. Jorge was so gracious and accommodating given my situation of commuting four hours over different means of transportation to get up here to make sure my visit was not in vain. World class customer service, beautiful venue and amazing vino! The Panorama Vineyard Pinot Noir stole the show for me!
I can only imagine a bright future for Jorge at KJ…please consider him for a promotion as he embodies all the ideals that any hospitality-centric brand should hope to find in their employees!
