Very good food. Very popular. The crowds caused service to be slow.

I'm severely bummed looks like this place just closed. I'm not going to say they had it all together, but it was quite busy, the food was good and they had one of the best bars in Rincon Valley. Excellent Tequila selection, the cocktails were made well and tasty - They even had J Pinot Noir by the glass for $9 smackaroonies. Ok beer selection - they had an IPA that wasn't Lagunitas (I like the brewery but their flagship IPA is everywhere in the world). Nice people, cool atmosphere, I would stop in grab 2 with friends and get my food to go. Funny I had talked to Tom S about it last year, he predicted this which I get it, you have to have a business plan and let's face it 98% of businesses fail - mostly because of not planning and not having enough capital to make it through 3 to 5 years where your business can grow. Looks like he already knows the new people which I've heard from Super Star Steve Shfffffffffffff that their food is excellent. See you there.

A great restaurant with awesome food. Always delicious. Not a bad thing on the menu.

I’m alil partial to people handle food with bare hands while touching everything in reach of the kitchen that includes sauce containers and utensils. I cook myself and I’d never see a half cooked tortilla with any taco. Wing were nothing special and everything was like warm to my taste. Beer from draft was good and tortilla chips could have the oil changed. Overall. Nothing special alil disappointing but to be expected around Santa Rosa

I've eaten at La Cantina four times. Each visit was as enjoyable as the prior visit. The salsas are fresh and food is always falvorfull.

Came here in a party of 5 at 5pm for dinner a day or two before Christmas. We didn't expect it to be too busy due to the holiday but after we were seated and placed our order, the place just got slammed. Apparently they only had 2 chefs working that night plus serving staff. So while our main entrees came out after a reasonable amount of time, the dessert that I'd ordered at the same time as our other food took forever to come out. Our server came by a few times to say it was coming, and to apologize, but the rest of my table was getting upset and impatient. If I had known I might not have ordered dessert. When it came it was tasty (sopapillas) but maybe not really worth the wait. The rest of the food was good. I got the chimichanga which is wrapped in a cute way, not like a typical burrito/chimichanga. It was, however, too spicy for me (maybe a 2 on a scale of 0 to 10). Table chips were good. We also got guac and they made it fresh right there at the table for us. Nice presentation and everyone gave it positive reviews. Everyone else liked what they got. Next time I'd just have to find something less spicy and more boring for me. 4 stars because the food was great and because our server was really trying hard. I never saw him resting, always helping someone. Even if he couldn't fix how fast the food was coming out. When I arrived almost no tables were full and when we left they were all full.

We went there during happy hour and ordered their five dollar margaritas. One of the best margaritas I've had. Then we ordered two plates off their happy hour menu to eat which were also five dollars a piece. We enjoyed their chips and salsa. I could not of asked for a better evening. The place is nicely decorated, it's clean, and the people working there are very friendly.
