My friend and I have enjoyed many a meal at La Gare and looked forward to celebrating another Bastille Day dinner.
I ordered the steak frites of grass fed Angus.
The flavor was very good but the meat was tough and gristle laced. I inquired of Miles if there had been other comments about the steak and he said there hadn’t and offered a replacement or something different….which would have meant waiting and delaying our eating at the same time.

Delightful restaurant - intimate dining experience Delicious meals: Veal & halibut plated beautifully. Wonderful and pleasant hostess. Server was very accommodating and we appreciated his service.
