Mac's is THE Santa Rosa institution. It's a phenomenal lunch spot that gets better every time I come here. The pastrami sandwich is possibly the best I've ever tasted, but what truly sets Mac's apart is how warm and connecting the staff is. They are always the busiest a person could be and yet they never fail to take the time to connect with their guests and make sure that every need is attended to. There's only one explanation for this high of quality of service: love. Mac's is an integral part of the community, and we are all better for it.

From the outside, this place looks like a tiny little hole in the wall. When you walk in, you realize that it goes about 70 to 80 ft deep. Plenty of seating for lots of people. The portions are really big and extremely tasty. The same family has owned this place for two generations now and the third generation waits tables. You won't find friendlier people. Highly recommend this place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Front doorway is easy to roll into. There are a lot of booths but also tables right up front that you could take a chair out for your wheelchair.

A great diner that is MUST have if you are remotely close to the bay area especially if you are in the city.

Their corned beef, pastrami and their burgers are the star of the show.

My personal favorite has been a rare burger with jack cheese and a side of onion rings. Not only was the food delicious but the servings are surprisingly large for the cost. If you're a light eater you can probably get by even sharing a plate.

It is one of the best places for you to have breakfast and lunch, FOR SURE! Love the coffee, love the food, and the environment is topnotch. Egg benedicts are a solid option, and if you're not sure what to order, they can help you with that since they are always ready to help. More than recommended ?.

Good food and great service! Waitress was kind and attentive. I got the bacon and mushroom omelette with the house salsa. Tasty and fresh, good portions. They had no problem splitting the bill between me and three others.
