Stopped by for lunch with my kids. My daughter LOVES pasta. She loved her pesto and rock shrimp pasta dish. I really liked the deep fried raviolis and the garlic bread was very yummy. Also the gelato was great!

Had the BEST meal here!! My boyfriend got the spaghetti with the red vodka sauce, i ordered the alfredo. We also got the risotto balls and the garlic bread.. the meal was out of this world. Best pasta i've ever had. Go here!!!!!

Vodka tomato sauce here is very good. Had a nice amount of spice. Arancini were also delicious. However, the garlic bread left something to be desired. Had the rigatoni with pancetta and totally hit the spot.

I went to Mercato Pasta & Produce on a date with my Wife. Neither one of us had ever heard of it before, but we both like pasta so we decided to try it out. We took a chance to try a place we had never been, and boy did it pay off. It was FANTASTIC! The interior of the restaurant looks very nice. The menu was simple but not basic. It had a great selection of different choices of types of noodles and sauces, plus a protein to mix and match however you enjoy your pasta. My wife ordered the Rigatoni with tomato vodka sauce with house-made meatballs. Her Rigatoni pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The dish was beautifully seasoned it didn't need any extra seasoning added to it. The meatballs were delicious, moist, and fluffy. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. The Fettuccine noodles were perfectly cooked and pleasantly soft to the bite into. My Alfredo sauce was delicious, thick, and seasoned beautifully as well. We also order the bruschetta. It had tomatoes, basil, garlic, and sweet balsamic vinegar and was delicious. Another thing that I liked was how great the service and staff were. The staff was nice and friendly and it added an extra special touch to the overall experience. The price was affordable for the quality and quantity of the food, which something that is difficult to find in Santa Rosa. In summary, Mercato Pasta & Produce hits all the marks: Affordability, Quality, Quantity, Atmosphere, and Service. I would gladly recommend this establishment to anybody looking for a great restaurant to take their loved one on a date. I look forward to coming back here in the future. This restaurant has easily made its way to the top of my favorite restaurants to eat at. It has earned an honest 5/5 star review. Try it for yourself; you won't regret it.

This is a place you order at the counter and they bring your cooked meal to the table. Nice clean restaurant. I had Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce and house made meatballs. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the bolognese sauce was authentic. That was the good news. The very bad news is that the house made meatballs were horrible. They were mushy and tasteless. Whenever I eat that kind of a dish, I always save the meatballs for last and that really ruined my dinner. My wife and I are Italian and I cook the gravy & meatballs & sausage and believe me, they could use my recipe to make meatballs.

Wonderfully fresh pasta. Had Fettuccini with Pesto and Pancetta. Perfectly cooked. Just in town on vacation but I'd recommend to anyone, especially before a movie (next door), like we enjoyed.

Magical little place right on the corner offering both cocktails and grocery items on 3rd Street. Right next to Cinema and the aleworks. Creating craft cocktails and delicious nibbles.

Nice place to stop in for a cool drink or a quick nibble. Good relaxing patio with a good beer selection. We created our own pasta from thier create your own pasta bar. It's fun to sit down and make it your way instead of the chefs choice.

The process of ordering is a bit new and different from a typical restaurant but it seems to work. My chopped salad was delicious. The dressing is fantastic! Our group had chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and bolognese sauce and spaghetti with the marinara sauce. We all remarked about the excellent pasta texture. So right! Sauces are just right for foodies. Garlic bread is the best. Come here and try it, you will love it!

Found this nice and modern Italian place in downtown Santa Rosa on a recent trip up to Sonoma. It features a build your own pasta situation with a few specials. In these situations, I generally go for one of the specials in this case, it was the fettuccine with gorgonzola and pancetta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and went really well with the sauce and the pancetta. As my dessert, I ordered the blood orange sorbet which also served as a nice palate cleanser. With tax and tip, this was under $25. It's a counter service situation for lunch and the restaurant has nice wide booths as well as an outdoor area. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are craving Italian and are in the area.

Some of the best pasta I've ever had! Reasonably priced, friendly service, and an all around nice, casual way to enjoy some delicious Italian food. I'd love to check out their local goods for sale the next time I go, we were on a mission for pasta and noble folk so we didn't bother. You will definitely be satisfied, and you will definitely have leftovers.

Perfectly cooked pasta. Succinct menu. Nice staff. This is a great fast casual Italian spot. I'm hoping it will finally be the place that sticks in this fantastic but often heavily turned over location. The market has interesting products and the menu is simple. The bread is fantastic and I highly recommend the bruschetta. I have tried several of the appetizers including the kale salad, the arancini, and the garlic bread. All fantastic for light bites with a glass of wine. The soft serve gelato is also heavenly! Check this spot out!

Fun place to dine, right next to 3rd Street cinema -they even had non-alcoholic beer for me! Service good for such busy place. Can be a bit noisy, but that is half the fun!
