First time being at Mr.Pickles in 2 years and this was not a great welcome back! The food was a 3.5 out of 5 in my opinion! The thing that makes this review one stat is that me and my girlfriend asked for a half's and we were charged for fulls. After the we let the cashier know and asked what they could do all she offered was to make the full sandwich's. I was not looking to pay 33$ for sandwich's but we ended up having to take the sandwiches as they did not offer a refund. Probably won't be back anytime soon!

Never again. Went in and ordered 2 "6-inch" sandwiches thinking they were the half-sized, got one with "drink and chips" add-on, whole bill was $38. I was told by the impatient staff that "their half-sized sandwiches were 4-1/2 inches, and you ordered the full-size" (no attempt to rectify, basically a "tough sh*t" attitude). Even if I had ordered full-sized, the equivalent at Subways would've been around $30. I don't ordinarily bring a tape-measure to sandwich shops, and obviously this one resents Subway language and seeks to exploit customers w rude staff. I'm also tired of inflationary fast-food stuff in CA, and now a $20 min wage to entitled staff? Plus, 2 people could have a fairly full Mexican lunch for $38? I really meant it when I said "never again", I will make it a point to spread the word. I never should have left Subway in the first place, so much more customer friendly. Togo's and Sourdoughs make better sandwiches, Mr. Pickles apparently thinks they're haute sandwich couture.

Very uninviting staff and atmosphere. I went around 4 o'clock today. All of the chairs were put up on the tables so there was nowhere to sit while waiting. The music they were playing loudly over the shop speakers was saying the f-word and others UNCENSORED which was pretty shocking. I was the only customer and the girl who took my order acted like I was seriously inconveniencing her. very rude and unpleasant. The sandwiches were alright but nothing special. 2 sandwiches 2 chips and a kids sandwich (no drinks) was over $42 and I left feeling confused over the weird hostility.

Honestly I don't know why I keep coming back here. When they get it right, I love the veggie sandwich but I'd say they mess up the ingredients about half the time. I usually order online and I have to practically beg for eye contact to acknowledge my presence just so I can have someone hand me a bag with my name on it. The employees could not care less about their customers. Today my order was 20 minutes late and I wasted my whole lunch break waiting.

Placed an on-line order today. When I arrived, there were no other customers, but my sandwich had not been made on the bread which was clearly printed on the order receipt. Good thing I checked bag before departing. No apology offered. While waiting for it to be remade, I noted that the towel that was used to wipe down the plastic preparation area was almost touching (@1/2 inch) the sandwich bread. I mentioned it nicely and the employee responded "but it is not actually touching it". As she waited for the hot ingredients to be done, she wiped down the counter with the same moist towel and then placed the sandwich seconds later on that same counter surface--no paper wrapping separating the bread from the counter. I politely remarked that this seemed to be an unsanitary process. She responded that the towel "was not dirty" though there were clearly condiment marks, etc. from previous sandwiches. I will not be returning as there clearly seems to be a very casual attitude towards common sense health practices and want to alert other customers and health officials.

Tried calling, no answer… placed an order online and it said ready for pickup in 20min. I showed up 23 min later and they were not busy at all. They had plenty of workers but my sandwich had not even been started yet… I waited and watched them start making my sandwich while I waited.I won’t be wasting my time on this place again.
Went in about 11:40 on a Saturday, the three nice teenagers working had no supervision, nobody knew what to do when about 8 other people walked in, they just stared at each other in panic. I finally got my sandwich after at least 15 minutes, went home a few blocks away and the sandwich was so soggy it was unedible. Wouldn't think of calling or going back as that would have just added to the teenager's stress. Won't be going back-

First time trying this place, ordered to go. Mixed into my lettuce was old avocado that I didn't ask for that I had to scrape off, and half way through my sandwich I pulled out a string that was in between the meet and cheese. Very disappointed to say the least. Heard good things about this place guess i was just on the end of the stick of receiving a bad sandwich.

Just picked up Mr Pickles, I am a big fan of their sandwiches and it was really busy at this time so I knew I was going to be in for a wait. After waiting for the food delivery service orders to be finished I gave them my order and then waited for awhile before I started noticing people who ordered after me getting their orders first so I approached the cashier and asked about my sandwiches and turns out they lost the order. No apology from the cashier, they remade them and all in all waited an hour to get my food.

Best sandwich ever!!! I had the Listen Linda sandwich, DELICIOUS . My husband had the French Dip, DELICIOUS. Very nice owner, clean shop.Definitely will order again.
