This is absolutely the worst grocery store. I walked in and instantly walked back out. The store was dirty and disgusting. The staff is not friendly and is not knowledgeable in product or product location. After moving back from being away for the last decade I was looking forward to shipping Safeway again. I can safely say that I will drive out of my way to avoid this location and perhaps all other Safeway stores moving forward as again, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a grocer.

My Mother and I visited the deli for sandwiches and I have to say, Both my mother and I were VERY happy with the service that the young man,..I think his name was Isaiah,... performed. Thank you very much young man, you are a great complement to the store!!!

Not enough parking places,, but I like Safeway and their hrs 24 ;) BOO no longer open 24 hrs 6/2024 I rarely shop here now. Safeway prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic in my opinion it is based on greed not the supply chain and increase in stock by producers .. grocery outlet is my go to for the majority of my grocery shopping now. 6/2024

Was Racial profiled by one of the workers at the Starbucks here at safeway on Marlow I walked up with my 3 year old daughter only trying to get her a vanilla bean frap. The lady in frotn of me ordered a lot of stuff so once she walked away i gave the chick a few minutes before speaking.
"I said you guys are stull open?" She wouldn't look at me and said" no. " I was a little confused cuz she literally just helped the lady in front of me. I walked away and realized oh shoot I need the code to the bathroom i went to walk uo when she was helping a Hispanic lady who's ordering a bunch of drinks. I was so mad she was helping everyone who wasn't white. I just asked for the bathroom code and she pointed to the white guy working the checkout and told me to ask him foe the code hella rude.
All my daughter wanted was a tall vanilla bean frap. I wasn't being rude or anything but I was the only white one around and she refused me service. I used to go to this safeway all the time before my house burned down in 2017 tubs fire I lived by coffey park. Too be treated so poorly by the associates at this place makes me never wanna come back. A lot of the population over there are white so how many other people has she n Denied because we're white. Never will come here again and I hope those 2 girls get fired. Shame on them!

The woman in the 15 items or less line had a basket full and got an employee discount . This was allowed. Shamefully! Worst service at a Safeway ever, and I shop at many Safeway!

I had an experience at this store with an employee who I think might be an angel. She was for me on 4/5 in the early afternoon. I believe she works in the home shopping dept of this Safeway.She had shoulder length brown hair and super adorable glasses, really bubbly and funny and went WAY out of her way to help me. I'm a new Step- Grandma and my toddler Grandson fell asleep in the backseat of my car on the way to the children's museum. I was driving around aimlessly bc I didn't want to wake him. He had a rough time falling asleep on the drive and although it's silly, I was feeling a bit like a failure. I hadn't had any caffeine that morning, so I found myself at this Safeway. I dont know the area very well or the starbucks that are nearby so I called to see if I could order a coffee drink and I wound up on the phone with this lovely woman. Not only did she place the order for me, she was so understanding and funny! She brought the drink out to my car for me! I don't know about you, but that doesn't happen to me often and on a day when I felt like I was drowning. I was so grateful to her. What's more is my Grandson had woken up and I didn't even know bc he was so content. She was my good luck charm as well. We had a great time at the children's museum. I think we'll make this store part of our ritual every time we go to the museum. I owe this woman a huge thank you. She changed the course of my day. Since that was my G-son's first museum visit, her positive influence likely also changed how our future trips there will be anticipated in my young Grandson's mind as well. Next time he'll get a treat from Starbucks, we'll say hi to her if she's working, and then off to the museum. I'm truly grateful. Thank you to safeway for hiring such an extraordinary person.

I noticed a lot of sales prices for items I use like bread, milk, butter and eggs. Fresh baked goods were also reasonable. Fruits and veggies are available and well stocked.

Edit 3/22/24 The store is looking good. They had everything I needed and the staff was nice. It is sad that because of the theft all the good stuff is locked up, and there is only one way out. People suck!!
Safeway was fine, but the people shopping there are stupid! They had destroyed the restroom (things broken off the wall). They had no idea what a line is, and could not figure out self checkout.
Clean easy store to shop at. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Hot food counter employees are lazy AF. Avoiding service to customer, or just taking their sweet a.. time. There is no motivation for good customer service. Management needs to to observe their employee. Basically, the employees are not doing what they are getting paid to do.

It's in the ghetto not the cleanest seems like it should be an inner city Safeway instead of in the the middle of wine country I guess what I'm saying is park towards the front of the lot and keep your hand on your wallet

Wsg Dylan here I go here often and it’s a big store and it’s pretty clean but while I was going to my car this humongous Ferris wheel shaped ginger man tried to steal my groceries! Please be careful guys and stay cautious of this man.

It's been turned into a prison. Don't go to this location, if the people that go there are that bad that you have to make it that secure then you should probably just close this location.
