The veggie empanades are amazing but honestly we have never had a bad meal here, let's get that straight! Every dish is a flavor bomb. I love this place and my wife and I have enjoyed Sazon for years. The expansion is amazing with the new deli area. The wraps are fantastic! Staff is always great, friendly and super helpful to explain the menu. We had the chicken wings for the first time today and wow!! You gotta try it to see for yourself.

First of all, the waitress who served us was very helpful. Regarding the food, it's incredible how they can leave Peruvian food in such a bad state! The papa a la huancaina was served hot; it had no cheese flavor, it was anything but huancaina. The rice with seafood was a kind of risotto without seafood. The jelly was a joke; it only came with fried squid. Now, regarding cleanliness, there was a cat walking all over the tables and seats while you're eating. Absolutely unpleasant and unsanitary. When I arrived at the owner's and told him about the food, he was the most rude person ever and tried to excuse every mistake in the most ridiculous way, instead of taking the criticism as something constructive for the restaurant's staff.
I highly NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER

Disappointing and overpriced. I absolutely love Peruvian food, but this place just didn’t deliver. Both the lomo saltado and tacu tacu had undercooked rice, and the tacu tacu itself wasn’t even shaped traditionally—it felt like an afterthought. The pickled onions weren’t fresh, and overall, the dishes lacked the flavor and care that define good Peruvian cooking. For the price, I expected much better. Sadly, this was not a good representation of the cuisine I know and love

Sazon was the first Peruvian restaurant I've experienced and was a joy. Excellent food, great staff and warm atmosphere.

Great service and ambiance, even better food! Highly recommend.
This is one of THE BEST RESTAURANTS in town, hands down, and personally on my top five list! I love sauces, and Sazón shows mad love to sauce-loving enthusiasts like myself with EVERY DISH...
My favs / recommendations: the taqueños (do NOT skip these!), the empanadas, the calamari, the chicken wings, the fish tacos, and, OMG, do NOT miss the sangria--red OR white--they are BOTH OUTSTANDING! The half chicken entree is delicious and is enough to share with another person. Their soups and chowders are always on point. And their incredible dishes are made with fresh, local ingredients.
For Thanksgiving a couple years ago, we actually got 2-3 orders of several different dishes from Sazón and served them up [at home] tapas-style... There were only 6 of us that year, but everyone absolutely L❤️VED the food, all of us were stuffed to the max, and somehow there were even some leftovers, in true Thanksgiving day fashion!
I've dined here more than half a dozen times, and every time has been an amazing meal and a fantastic dining experience!!! 🥰🤯🤤😁🔥❤️
This place makes you love Peruvian food!
Rustic peruvian food. Ceviche had way to much acid. Lomo great flavor but chewy meat. Pork was fall apart tendar with straight forward saute. Good, not excellent.

Dietary restrictions: Nothing, I told this man three times my family does not like nor can they tolerate spicy foods. I told him no onions, no peppers nothing spicy. The food was AWFUL I ended up tossing most of it out. It was UNBEARABLE spicy! He minimized everything I was trying to tell him, he cut me off when I tried to explain to him that to my family onions are spicy. The food burnt my granddaughter so much she was crying. We usually have a great experience at Peruvian restaurants but this was the worst of the worst. Now I am our $110 and all I can do is try to prevent this from happening to anyone else with bad reviews. Shame on you for lying just to make a sale!!

This restaurant is simply charming. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with an attention to detail that is reflected in both the decoration and the soft background music. The staff is extremely friendly, always with a smile and ready to offer recommendations that do not disappoint. The food is another level, with authentic seasoning that respects the ingredients and enhances the flavors of each dish. We felt so well cared for that time flew by. It is definitely a place we will return to again and again, not only for the food, but for the complete experience it offers.
