WOW! What a great new sushi spot in Santa Rosa! I first noticed the welcoming atmosphere on a chilly evening—it felt so warm and inviting inside. The server (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) took such great care of us. One of our group has a gluten allergy and he reassured her that he would take great care of her. She received a beautiful extra special roll that she loved. Another friend tried the Green Curry Ramen, concerned it might be too spicy. The server assured her it was more sweet than spicy, though she did find it had more heat than expected. Overall the experience was great. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for 4 friends who needed to catch up on life.

Very nice! Exactly what I love in a Japanese restaurant. Very fresh, beautifully prepared and presented food; pleasant, efficient service and quiet so that I can fully enjoy the good food. Even the layout of the dining room was very pleasant so that this single diner felt comfortable. I had a very late lunch here some weeks ago, just half an hour or so before they closed for lunch. Perfect maki sushi, sunomono and miso soup. The food was so good I went beyond and ordered one of their special appetizers. Wowie! That was excellent! I will come back with my husband who also loves sushi. This is a wonderful place for a nice date 🌹...or a treat for one's self.

The2 option bento box was delicious. I ha the nigiri roll and pork katsu. The 4 different pieces of nigiri were fresh and nicely prepared and the katsu was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also enjoyed a very nice rice tea that was served at the correct temperature. I will stop by Shiki again soon!

DELICIOUS sushi!!! A grade fresh fish, salmon from Scotland, toro and other specials. All sauces and soups made in-house, including low sodium soy sauce. It’s my favorite sushi place in Sonoma County at the moment and I’ve eaten everywhere. Ambience is casual; staff is superb; prices are reasonable.

This new family-owned sushi and Japanese restaurant is absolutely amazing! We visited for the first time since they opened in February, and we were so impressed. The owner assisted to serve our table and provided wonderful, insightful recommendations for cold sake. Every single thing we ordered was incredibly fresh. We started with the flavorful Salmon Sicilian sashimi, which was made with exceptionally fresh Scottish salmon. The scallop and hamachi nigiri were both amazing—the quality and flavor were out of this world. If you love great sushi, stop your search and come here. Don't forget to order the special spicy scallop roll—you won't regret it. The outdoor patio was a lovely spot to enjoy our meal on a September afternoon, complemented by the perfect jazz music. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I went to Shiki Sushi on Mendocino today! They took over the restaurant from the former owners of Aji Sushi.
We had an amazing experience! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming! We sat at the bar! My husband ordered the Appetizer version of the Tempura Combo. Very tasty. He also had the hot Sake! I ordered the Sake Salmon and am very particular about how thin I want the salmon sliced! Amazing. The presentation of my salmon was spectacular! Cold Asahi for me! They are open for lunch and dinner! We are looking forward to trying new items the next time we visit them.

This restaurant is one of the highest quality sushi I have had in a long time. I tend to eat out at lot at higher end restaurants. This place checks all the boxes on my request. Larger pieces of fresh seafood. Customer service is on top of everything. Restaurant clean and clean bathrooms. Owner and spouse are pleasant conversation. Great selection of alcohol beverages. Educational service is top notch. Suggested menu specials are given without asking. Selection of foods are incredible. You will not be disappointed in this restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch today and sat at the Sushi Bar. The service was wonderful and informative. The sushi was amazing 🙌 fresh, tasty, and great lunch prices. I had the 7 piece nigiri lunch. Yeu took my order and even shared what type of fish each piece of nigiri was. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!
