I am very disappointed with the attitude of the baristas. Many times they have shown contempt for customers and have been racially discriminatory. They behaved as if they had no education. The last time I was offended was at 4:22 PM on December 30th.

It seems like no matter time of day I might drive by, I need to pull in and grab an Americano. I think it's because black coffee allows you to enjoy just the pure taste of it without sugar, flavors, or cream that one can really appreciate the layers of flavor. The Starbucks Americano is the best!

I typically give 4 overall stars for well established chains such as Starbucks. The Starbucks food here is the same as at every Starbucks, mediocre. The service and atmosphere were also typical.
This Starbucks is a hybrid. Its operated by Safeway, has a large entrance into the largest Safeway store I've ever seen, but the Starbucks space itself looks stand-alone with a large space containing multiple tables with plenty of room for a sea of customers, has its own double door entrance bounded on both sides by multiple large windows.
While the Starbucks food here is as mediocre as at every Starbucks, the Safeway deli is a 10 second walk away. I'm having a KEIFER cultured lowfat (sic) drink (yogurt drink) for breakfast

I rarely leave any reviews on anything weather good or bad but this morning I felt I needed to share a moment I experienced at this local Starbucks. Today 7/13/25, around 8 am, I went to grab some Starbucks with my daughter. The first thing I noticed was the barista working on her own and tending a line of at least 6 costumers. She was working very hard trying to complete the order but you could tell she was overwhelmed being the only person working. When a costumer asked of why she was working by herself, she stated she had a late call off and wasn’t able to replace the staff member. When it was my turn to order, she put on a smile and proceeded to be professional, and kind. I asked if I could leave a tip because I was paying with card and she told me unfortunately not with that system, only cash. I eventually came back to my car and luckily I had cash to thank her for having such a positive attitude under the circumstances. I hope corporate sees this and recognizes her. I believe her name is Mila, hopefully I spelled it correctly. And they should definitely change the way they’re allowed to receive tips because people rarely carry cash now a days.

Lately been on the matcha with lavender foam and found Lena at this location is the only person that makes it properly, thick as it should be. Tried other Starbucks locations in town and it always turns out runny. Lena and staff are super friendly!

Our families travels across town for miles in heavy traffic for the delicious Asian cuisine at this Safeway. From the famous G and G Taco Salad that we serve at Thanksgiving and Christmas to the Chinese Kung Pao with spicy peppers, soups, barbecued chicken with five spices. This is the best Safeway store north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Delicious, creative, unique and always delicious. Thomas

This facility is near our home so we go often. This particular time we went thru the drive thru window which moved quickly. The kid at the window was quite pleasant.
