I confused this truck with the taco truck near by but I didn't realize this until after I placed my order. I asked them if they could make a California burrito and they said yes. I had ordered 4 burritos and the total came out to over $60.00 and I still gave them a tip, thinking this was the spot that was recommended to me. The burritos were not good. The meat was mostly fat. There were about 5 fries in each burrito. My partner asked if I had ordered the right thing and upon describing the location of the truck, we realized I had gone to the wrong truck. My sister did the exact same thing and she was not pleased about the price of the burrito and the lack of flavor and ingredients. I just wish the gentleman would have been upfront and honest and told me there was a taco truck across the way because I could tell he was confused when I initially asked for a California burrito. I think $60 is a lot for 4 burritos that only had fat, beans, rice and cheese in them. I can't speak for anything on their menu but I hope this review will help anyone else who might confuse the two food trucks.

Was doing some business in the area and didn't have the time to make breakfast this morning, so after finishing my appointment l was looking for a place to eat. Did a quick Google search and found these guys nearby. All I can say is GOOD STUFF!Had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was PERFECT! Right balance of potato to eggs to chorizo. The burrito wasn't to big nor to small. Plus their hot sauce is hot and spicy without giving you to much burn.As for the service, the gentleman taking my order was VERY nice. Gonna have to try other items on their board. ??

I recently visited Sonny's Cafe food truck located on the corner of Coffee Park and Piner Rd. I ordered a big burrito without rice and beans, as I am from San Diego and that is not a common way to prepare it. Despite my request, they charged me over $14.00 (more than usual) for a burrito that hardly had any meat in it. Moreover, their customer service was terrible. It was no surprise to see that the food truck was always empty with nobody buying there. I had heard negative reviews before, but I chose to ignore them, and now I see why. One Star!!!

My son saw this place parked on Coffey Ln at the 76 and wanted to try it. Today (Saturday) we went to the Farmer's Market on Farmers Ln today and had a great experience! My son had the pancakes, eggs and bacon, I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and my husband had the chilaquiles. We enjoyed it all! The green salsa on the chilaquiles and the red salsa for the burrito were very good. We were first to order so I cannot say anything about the wait time. I think their instagram has the most up to date schedule.

My family and I got the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles with over medium eggs and the pancake combo. The breakfast burrito was tasty and came with a red sauce that had mild spice. The chilaquiles comes with chips, 2 eggs, beans, queso fresco, avocado and sour cream served on a green salsa with no heat, but absolutely delicious flavor. The pancake combo comes with 2 pancakes with butter and syrup, your choice of meat and eggs. The portion sizes were on the large side, definitely filling. This is an honest rating to help out this seemingly newly established food truck. The staff were friendly and I hope this helps boost their success!

Caught them on our trip from Colorado. Straight up slaps! Birria is good. Salsas are good. 100% recommend. Don't drive by this truck.

Good portions for breakfast at a spot on price!Hit the Farmers Market on Farmers lane and grabbed Breakfast from them. Not a huge wait for food think it was about 7 minutes for three meals. The menu has many options. The lunch/ dinner looks good. I can hardly wait to try that side of the menu. The person taking the order was nice a little soft spoken. We ate at the market but the food was hot just got cooled off quickly due to the cold morning. We did have to ask as it seemed the inside person forgot to give a syrup for the pancake combo. Bacon was excellently cooked. Not too crisp or floppy.
