I recently moved to Sonoma County from a bit further south and have been looking for a good Mexican food place in the area for so long. But after trying a ton of restaurants and food trucks around I can honestly say that this place is lowkey one of the best spots in the Santa Rosa area.
I tried a few different meats on the tacos here and they are all pretty damn good. The quesabirrias though are literally a gift to all of mankind, ez recommend.

Used to have to drive 30 minutes for my usual carnitas truck. Now I only have to drive 15, probably the best birria out there, I recommend the California Burrito with birria, for the price you can't really get any better. Google hours are incorrect imo, usually as long as ur there before 8 they're probably open, I've gone as late as 8:30 some nights with no issues, despite the Google hours most likely being wrong I've never showed up to them not being open.

White guy here. Tried them on a whim. These are my favorite soft tacos ever. I will give them as much business as I can to keep them around. The meat is juicy, fresh, the medium salsa is perfect (slight heat). The soft tacos shells are tasty, never dry or boring. The beat out my favorite spot in Sonoma, Taqueira Sonoma. Soo much better than Mochajetos.
