Grill chicken taco are my favorite. I've been eating here for 25 years. My dad and I would come here for menudo on Sundays. Lately I'm really liking the Grill Chicken Tacos. I notice their cool hat and grab one.

In the 30 plus years I've lived in Norcal, I have yet to taste a better burrito than the one here at Taqueria Santa Rosa. I always get the grilled chicken burrito and it tastes just as good as it did when i was attending the SRJC in the early 00's. If you like chicken, do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous Burritos !!! Most Mexican restaurant, do a good job, and the food always taste the same just OK. But not here. Everything about the burritos was extraordinary. First, it's almost embarrassing how large the burrito is when it shows up at your table. The tortilla was , perfect, and it was filled with everything you would expect, and our awesome burrito. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend having lunch here.

Food was good, unfortunately customer service was really poor. Be aware of the different prices they have on their paper menu, which is different from the ones they have on the screens.We wanted to dine in, so as one does we asked for a paper menu that we reviewed at our table. Then we go to order at the counter (like they require you to do), as I go to pay I notice that the total was basically double of what we saw in the paper menu, so we showed them the menu and asked why that was the total, and they just said “oh sorry those are the old prices, we forgot to change the paper menus”. It felt like a scam, cause later on she saw another client grabbing the menu I left on the counter and didn’t say anything to that client about the one SHE told me was “an old/wrong menu”. She didn’t even try to make it right, just said “sorry, sorry”, instead of offering to match the price from the paper menu (like an honest business would have done), or at least make the move of offering us a $5 discount or something to make up for their mistake… I’d give 0 to customer service if I could.This truly felt like a trick the often do, but regardless from that the staff was incredibly unwelcoming even before this. Just for reference, we are not talking about a few extra dollars, we are talking about a 12.99 dish that became like 19, so multiplied by 2 people that ended up being a big unacceptable difference.Since it was late, we ended up still eating there and the food was good, dishes were big (and the place is nice), but probably would never go back because of the overall poor service.
The mucho grande steak burrito will feed two people for a week! Great food reasonably

My wife and I wanted Mexican food for our last night in Santa Rosa. Taqueria was the closest to us and also highly recommended by our ABNb host. We really didn’t want a big restaurant experience, and Taqueria was the perfect choice. Small place, nothing fancy. We kept it simple, tacos (grilled chicken) the order came out in just minutes. Came with chips and salsa. Delicious! Authentic, great flavor, fresh ingredients. Full menu if you desire more! Hidden gem! Enjoy!
