I understand this restaurant has closed since I was there on 8/23/19. I'm a big Guy Fieri fan and dig his shows like Diners Drive Inns and Dives and Guy's Grocery Games. I also dig the '68 Camaro. I think it used to be a '67 Camaro in earlier shoots. I have a '69 Camaro and have owned a '67 and another '69 in the past. At any rate, I follow Guy's Triple D restaurants and thought I'd try his restaurant that he was tied to. Me and my +1 got the there late and ordered "pupu" style as we say in Hawaii. For you more sophisticated Mainlanders and Europeans pupus are the same as hors d'oeuvres. +1 had a vodka mix $7.50 and I had a 32 oz. Modello $11. We ordered edamame $8, Sashimi Combo $19.50 and Nick's Trick $17 which was a kicked up maki sushi roll. The sashimi tasted fresh enough, but was basically cut fish that was probably flash frozen. I wasn't like wow'd, but it was okay. The roll was heavy with mayo and I'm not a big mayo fan in my sushi. It was meh, but then again if you're going to eat sushi you probably don't want to order it from a guy named Tex. Lol. Service was awesome. I hope our server found employment at another establishment because she was sincere and caring.

It had been over 13 years since we moved away from Santa Rosa and since we ate at Tex Wasabi's. Last time we went, you still saw Guy Fieri talking to everyone and ensuring everything was perfect! His presence was still there even over the years a It was as delicious af I remember! Our server had the best customer service ever! She was attentive and understanding with my 2 daughters. Also I met a fabulous Gal in the bathroom and were chit chatted in there for a bit! Sushi was fresh, innovative and they were a generous amount, the appetizers were delicious, hot and fresh. The dessert OMG the Breath Mint pie is freaking the best! On Keto and that was worth my Cheat!

This is just another place that Google asked to do a review on so we did me and my wife went out on a Wednesday and decided to go to this place it was nice it was so beautiful inside I love the lighting the decorations and it had a Upstairs and Downstairs I just love how clean the windows were so we were able to see out and you even can sit outside the drinks were great we had sake we had a cold sake and a hot sake but I love the hot sake way better they had the most amazing calamari oh my God the food was amazing I just love sushi I love the fact that I had other food choices as well it was clean the waiter was very attentive I love that when a waiter keeps an eye on his table to making sure that everybody's happy he constantly clear the tables knowing that they're small tables so he made sure that it stayed enough room for everybody at all times it's a great family place to bring your children your grandparents or mom your dad sisters brothers anybody honestly I recommend this place 109 9%

Stopped by here today with a group from work as we were looking for a good place for steak. This place sure answered our call. We were from out of town, and this place came up highly rated. It definitely did not disappoint! The service was excellent, the food was fantastic

We had a great family dinner at Tex Wasabi's while visiting in Santa Rosa. The BBQ sandwiches with brisket meat were delicious, as were the side servings of coleslaw salad and potato salad. The sushi platters were very tasty and filling. Service was great and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice. I would recommend this restaurant while you are in Santa Rosa.

Can't believe I've never been here before. Had dinner with a friend, whose been many times, last night. Rockin lava shrimp - $15.60 5 stars Ok, I admit, I am now obsessed with this dish! Ordered as an appetizer to share, I immediately regretted it. Regretted I had to SHARE! Spicy tangy shrimp, crunchy noodles and other bits. Hot but not burning. Full of flavor. Squeeze a few drops of lime and just die. Red Dragon Roll - $15.75(?). 4 stars It was fine, tasty. Lots of rice, a bit too much. Beautifully presented. Fresh. Full rack of ribs with double beans as sides - $30 10 stars Ordered this to go for my son. Tried a small rib when I got home. Do not know why I've never thought of this place for bbq. I think the 'fusion' thing has thrown me off all these years. Some of the best ribs I've ever had. Have now found my go to bbq spot when you just have to have those perfect ribs. Tender but still had a nice toothsomeness. BBQ sauce was good. Beans are fantastic! A fried roll of some kind $ ? 3.5/4 stars I'm a traditionalist. I tried a piece of my friends fried roll. I have to admit it was very tasty. But one piece was enough for me. Ambiance - 3 stars It's a little dark and heavy for my taste but the seating was comfortable. The table wobbled, which was a tad annoying. Service - 5 stars Couldn't have been better. The young man who waited on us was perfect. I'm sure it helps that is was mid week and not hugely busy. I may have to go back Monday for that shrimp.

If you go here, just order their Japanese food or Western food straight up. It's not bad. But don't try their East meets West fusion. Also service was pretty slow. Our waitress was sweet, but she let our sushi sit on the kitchen counter, and only remembered it was there when we asked about it towards the end of our meal.

Calamari, shrimp, sushi, burgers and bbq were all amazing. I had their signature margarita (ok 2 of them!) and the breath mint pie. So good. Something for everyone and all done well and in large portions. I guarantee anybody can find something they love here.
