Third street lost its soul and all the was great about it with the change of owners. They blame their upcoming closing on "taking over a struggling business" and a desire to focus on beer, but the beer cannot at all compare with the local power houses and the entire reason people went was for the OG bomb kitchen, the low key and friendly vibes, and the staff who became friends. The money on the new tables and bar would have been better spent on keeping its employees over revamping the anesthetics than no local person actually like.

What happened to this place? This place used to be happening. There was one server who was also the bartender and the greater and the busser. The food was s*** and there was hardly a selection of alcohol. This place used to be four or five stars. Oh well.

Came for a pint of the DIPA during the beer passport weekend. Sad this place is closing down in April 23. Definitely come here and grab a pint and support them until the end

5 stars for the bar/drinks. Zero or negative stars for the food/kitchen. Went on a weekday night to get dinner. It took an hour for the food to come out and the place was really quiet, not busy at all. When the food finally came out, every order was wrong, cold or not as described on the menu. The person behind the bar apologized and comped the food. Will not be getting food here again but will come back for drinks only.

This used to be the best place for a friday night dinner and beer date. After leaving for a few years I came straight here to remember the good ol times. Sadly their food has changed and from what i heard they will soon closed their kitchen completely. I really enjoy the beers here but without their classic menu I cant see myself coming back. Sad times.

Got a bacon burger and fries. Bacon and fries were burnt to a crisp. Food took forever. Was not delivered to our table. Had to picked up from the bar. Bartender didn't seem happy, responsive or wanting to be there. My friends and I were shooed out before 9 pm because they just decided to close up shop around 8:00. The restoration inside looks incomplete. Plastic chairs and tables you can buy at Costco have replaced the old wood tables that used to be on the 2nd floor. All of the intimate seating for couples seems to have been removed. The lighting inside is a harsh white light that is not what you expect from a cozy pub. If this is your first time here you may have a different perspective. If you like a sports bar this may be more your thing (maybe that's my problem). But if you are an old timer you can see that this place has lost a bit of it's soul (at least for now).

Wow! One of the best burgers I've ever had! Fries were delicious! Beer was ok.

We had 18 people for dinner and we came around 6:30pm. The staff promptly informed us that they were going to close the kitchen at 7pm and told us to put in our orders at 6:45pm. While we were collating our orders (because they also refused to offer table service despite our numbers and insisted we line at the counter), the staff then came and told us that the kitchen is closed ahead of time and will not be taking our orders at all. They only served up some sides and appetizers which weren't even well prepared at all e.g. the skin wasn't removed from carrots. This was an absolute disaster and disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ridiculous way of doing business. Our group made a reservation for dinner for 18pax weeks in advance. When we arrived for our reservation at 630, we were suddenly informed that the kitchen closes at 645.By the time we had been seated and attempted to put our orders in, we were told that the kitchen would not take any orders. If the establishment had no realistic intentions to actually serve us food, they could’ve simply declined our reservation, or even inform us at the door, instead of serving us the appetizers and abruptly informing us we cannot order our mains.

Bad service, bad food. The kitchen was supposed to close at 7pm and the chef refused to take our orders for entrees at 6.45pm. And the wait staff did not give notice of the chef's decision. The raw celery was great. Much better than the raw carrots that were unpeeled ??‍♂️

Horrible experience. We made a reservation for 18 pax, and arrived at 6.30 pm. We were suddenly told that the kitchen closes at 6.45 pm (other diners that arrived later than 6.45 pm had food served to them).Servers told us to queue one by one to order our food. When we offered to take down orders for ourselves, we were told the chef chose to close the kitchen.

Terrible service, disinterested in doing businessExpected guests to fill up their own tap water, order the drinks at the bar, order food at the counter only to have the chef tell us that he was not doing it even though our group of 18 was on track to send in the order by 650pm when the kitchen closes at 7pm.It’s so ridiculous

This is my favorite beer pub in town. Very reasonable and great service! I know RR has great beer also but 3rd street has the better deal!

So recently, they just got Bayou On The Bay for food. We've been there twice now at the restaurant and the food has been amazing every time. Here are a few of the dishes that we got from them. Service was good bartenders are good and beer is good.
