This restaurant and the chef (Tony) knows how to operate a successful restaurant. Very inique offerings. I had the spaghetti with shrimp and scallops. Italian yet Asian. So good!
Overall a really nice neighborhood place. Good list for happy hour, plates to share or individual dinners.
My husband and I came here for the first time and got the panang lobster curry and we are OBSESSED! Best curry we have had in a long time! Only thing we wished was that there was slightly more lobster for the price. Amazing we will be back!
This was a brief first visit to pick up an online order, so I won’t comment on ambience or service — just on the food. I grew up in NJ spending summers in MA, and for me summer really began when I had my first lobster roll of summer vacation. I’ve lived in CA nearly 30 years, and I’ve tried in vain to find a place that offered a Maine-style lobster roll — all previous contenders fell far short of 5-star. I read praise for the Tony’s Galley roll, and today I ordered one online and drove the 12 miles to Santa Rosa to pick it up. I never imagined I’d be able to say this in CA, but the Maine-style lobster roll from Tony’s Galley is as good as the best I’ve had in the nearly 80 years of my life! Perfectly prepared lobster meat plentifully piled into a butter-toasted soft-sided hot-dog roll, with minimal mayo modestly supporting the main event. By the way, just to gild the lily, the cole slaw side was excellent in its own right. When the real thing is what you crave, here’s where to find it.
First time here. Arrived with ny friend at about 6:45 pm. Just missed happy hour.We were seated. Got a cold looking / not interested female server. I had really looked forward to bringing my friend. We were pretty much ignored. Had to wait for refills. More drinks and extra sauce etc. The bus person helped us more than our female, couldn’t be bothered, server. Then when we were not quite ready to leave( and there were at least four others tables there at lest 45 minutes from closing,) we started hearing loud/ obnoxious/ banging of dishes over and over. The noise interrupted our table’s conversations.Turns out there was another employee banging plates together over and over loudly. I walked around the room partition and saw our server standing near the other person. They seemed to be in agreement to make loud clean up noises to get us all us to leave This happened way before the posted closing time.I looked forward to discovering a new place to dine in Santa Rosa. But I will never go back to this place.
Impressive interior. Food was good. The staff was amazing! Clams and calamari a little chewy. Lobster roll was good.
Great service and good value. I've almost had all of the entreés over my many visits. It's my favorite place for "happy hour", plus where else in ALL of Santa Rosa can you get such excellent oyster and for just $1.00 each ($12 dozen). BTW, the "guy" next door charges $3.50 for one ($42/dozen) and are not as good.
Love this place! Great dining experience always. 4 stars because the oysters were not top notch this time. One of our favorite places!
Very pleasantly delighted by the quality of food prepared at this restaurant. We were planning to go to another restaurant that had outdoor dining since we had the dog but they didn't have room so we decided to eat at Tony's. I ordered the lobster roll lunch special and it came with a salad and their clam chowder. Wow! Their homemade clam chowder was delicious! So much healthy veggies and real, flavorful clams inside. The lobster roll was one of the best I've had. The roll they toast it in is just amazing. Crispy and light and sweet. Definitely will come back again next time I'm in town.
We had originally wanted to eat at Cattlemens but they weren't seating until 845 w/o a reservation so we decided to stop in here, we were welcome seated and ordered promptly got drinks ? and our meal came soon after. We were pleased with the portions and the food was tasty . Service was excellent, you all have a great business going here keep up the great job ? we will definitely recommend this over an over again. Other restaurants take notice Tony's does it right, reservations are great for larger parties but 4 people is an easy seating. Awesome thanks for a pleasant Saturday evening ?

I've been ordering from this restaurant for the last couple of weeks. Everything has been great, I've mainly tried the seafood on the menu.Today I ordered the seafood cippinio again and this time the crab leg was spoiled, in which, it ruined the entire meal. I called several times and they told me that there is no Manager available and that they'll arrive at closing time.RIDICULOUS!They told me maybe you can get a free meal tomorrow. Disappointed!
Had lunch here last week a after driving by it many times. We (4) of us had a different lunch special for 16.00 each and they were excellent. The service was good, atmosphere was tops, and easy parking. Lunch was a lobster roll, green salad and a cup of excellent chowder. Can't go wrong here. Tony from Sea Thai Bistro did a great job in updating this location. Worth a return trip to explore the menu.
My Brother-in-law was craving seafood so we decided here on the way to Howarth Park. Great choice! There were lobster rolls on the lunch special so we had to try. We also had calamari, oysters on the half shell, crab spring rolls and clam chowder. For the main were fish and chips for him and fisherman's wharf soup for me. All superb quality and flavor! I see more visits in my future.
The fam and I thought it was about time we try out Tony's and let me tell you, it was quite amazing! The ambience was lovely, our server was awesome and that doesn't even include how delicious the food was! From the drinks to the seafood platter and apps, we will definitely be back!
$1 oysters?? Love coming here for happy hour! More Asian-fusion food than I expected (don’t get me wrong, I love that sort of menu, but I wasn’t expecting SO much of their menu to have things like peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce for a place that presents itself as a New England-style seafood joint), but everything was delicious, really good cocktails, loved the open-window bar seating, and the service is great. Will come here again!
