The portion size is just right. Excellent food, excellent service and a pretty nice drink menu as well. Well deserved a 5 star

We stumbled upon this place because of their happy hour deal with $1 oysters. We already had reservations somewhere else for dinner but came here at 4:30 pm for the oysters, a cocktail and also selected their salmon tartare which was delicious.Dan our server was very helpful, personable and extremely friendly. The place apparently opened just 6 month ago.I will be back for happy hour oysters again, and more, they do breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This place was perfect. It’s a gorgeous space, the food was DELICIOUS and the service was outstanding. 10/10 on every count. Even the bathroom was cute. Haha.It was our anniversary so the GM brought us two glasses of rose on the house. We chatted with him for a few and he was lovely. We noticed that he talked with many tables and was super personable. Even the DJ was super friendly. Wish we lived in the area - we would definitely be regulars.

Had a wonderful experience tonight 4/21/24. The food was spectacular and our waitress Megan was detail oriented about the menu and answered all our questions about each item. Compliments to the owner Marcin and his chefs for the complimentary dessert it made our night!!!

The food is good, I like how creative some of the dishes are but they are lacking seasoning. I had the pork and it was pretty tasty, over braised cabbage, juicy, bone in. Our group orders the gnocchi (really good) and the risotto and caesar salad. Both under seasoned, made it a little too bland even though it had great potential.I’d go back though, sometimes things are off.Our searcher was this young gal and she was great. I liked her attitude, she was upbeat and had good demeanor /was numerous. My husband ordered a beer for dessert and she came back saying, “dessert is served..” with a smile, it was cleaver. I like when the servers are interactive. The bathrooms were dirty, unattended and that’s a huge pet peeve. The hostess should be checking regularly. I hate when I am paying decent money to done some place and the bathroom is messy and I have to unwrap the new toilet paper rolls and put them on the dispenser.Growing pains probably. All in all it’s worth visiting even though they have some kinks to work out. It’s a diner and it should just be a good diner

This restaurant used to be third Street ale Works and my husband and I tried this restaurant the new towns on a very cold rainy day and we’re very impressed with the food. It was wonderful. The flavor was amazing. My husband ordered the pork chop on the menu and I ordered the seafood soup and that soup was amazing. It wasn’t too fishy. It wasn’t too thick. It was nice and light. We will definitely be back.

Horrible, tasteless, late food. Waste of time and money. Drinks were late and weak.

I’ve only had a few things but the food was underwhelming. The drinks are solid and the atmosphere is a bit forced but enjoyable. Good place for solo.

One of our favorite places in a recent Santa Rosa/Sonoma trip. $30 lunch special was such a good deal - the Portuguese stew was delicious with fresh fish and even the starter salad was elevated beyond your basic green salad. The crinkle cookie was fine, maybe compared to everything else it didn’t stand out as much. The limeade had the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Most of all, our server was so friendly without being overbearing. I was impressed he covered the entire lunch shift himself! We will be back.

We visited Townes during Sonoma County restaurant week and they did not disappoint! Their Mussels were absolutely to die for! There wasn't just a simple broth in the bottom of the dish, it was more like a tasty chowder with fine veggies and seasonings that you wanted to soak up every drop of! Their desserts were also yummy. The setting is pretty simple having previously been 3rd Street Ale Works but the food and service was stellar!

My party of 2 walked in and identified as such. The 2 persons who walked in after us stated they were in a larger party. I wasn't led to a table, but asked to pick a table. The host-manager then seated the 2 persons in a larger party. My lunch was petrale, slivers really, sitting on top of greens I couldn't cut with the knife that was provided. The flavor was good though and presentation was nice. The service was not attentive, our wine was delivered after our meals. I would not go back, nor would I recommend this restaurant. I really wanted to like it though.

I've been 3 times now. Everything was amazing. The seanfood stew was my favorite. The service was attentive. I went two days in a row and the server recognize me. The redesign is great and the added music is a nice touch

Townes is easy to get to and used to serve beer and simple American fare (hamburgers, pasta, deep, fried chicken, etc.) As of March 2024, The entire vibe of this restaurant is off--as in uncoordinated and lacking its own identity. From what we observed, the bar is still active with its locals who used to go there for beer and sports TV. The bench-style seating down the center of the restaurant is OK for casual dining, but doesn't really work for the quality of food their chef prepares. More on this later. One of two back sections is curtained off and reserved for private parties. The night we were there, we saw a lot of servers clustered in the back of the kitchen, putting their heads together, collectively planning how to take care of whatever group was back there. The upstairs is another separate section, not likely that one would be served up there unless the place is packed. Overall, the space lacks a cohesive theme/vibe. It's disjointed, with four different income source spaces for the restaurant: the back of the room, the bar, the down-the-middle-row and table seating, and the upstairs. Service was OK, but there were a few times where there was confusion about how to handle corkage and topping off of our bubbles. The staff definitely aimed at being professional, but when one of our dishes was deemed too spicy, the server's attitude "oh well, too bad." This is a no way in exaggeration, but reveals the artifice of professionalism cloaked over the inability to manage a small issue. Note: if you bring your own bottle, the corkage fee here is one of the highest in Sonoma County: $25. Now for the food: their Chef prepared a fabulous scallops appetizer-- creamed cauliflower with radicchio and hazelnuts--which we both LOVED, although we did wish there were more than three scallops each dish. The salmon was fresh farmed, yet tasty. Dessert was a chocolate mousse kind of dish (don't remember name) that was delicious, yet quite small. On at least two occasions, the GM came by to see how we were doing, but did not seem to actually be interested in our feedback; his attention was elsewhere and was not genuinely friendly. Despite not ordering any drinks, our bill-- including tip--was nearly $160. Although they have a fantastic chef, this place does not exude the level of sophistication that would be aligned with a truly high-quality restaurant.

Only tried the Arancini and they weren't hot all the way through. The drink was good but the ice cube was so big, there wasn't much drink.

Went there for the first time today and it will not be the last time went for happy hour had excellent service place wasn't very busy it was a little loud but it's really a great spot. We had couple appetizers and they're yummy oysters that are only a dollar each. Will be back probably many times. Parking isn't easy nearby but all in all and excellent experience
