Excellent drinks. Highly skilled mixologists. Best around.But.... a single beer is $10 !!?? (They have a $10 minimum ??) Why? During happy hour !!! ..And you want a tip ? I walked across the parking lot and bought a 2 dollar bag of screws with my ATM - The hardware store does not have a $10 minimum. I told the bartender, I will never return - gave them my word. I'll buy beer from a grocery store from now on - I'm fine with that.

I came to Whiskey Tip to see a band perform and have an evening out. I appreciated the bouncer at the door as the door was always open (fresh air was nice). The interior was a little more like a dive bar than the website gave the impression that it was. But, I sure didn't feel uncomfortable inside. (Older adult woman here.) There were people from all over the age spectrum in attendance.The interior space for a band and audience was pretty limited, but it was so casual that it worked. We sat at the bar and ordered cocktails (a Manhattan for me). It was fun to watch the bartender prepare our drinks - no nonsense, just a knowledgable bartender doing his thing. A simple, cheap white cocktail napkin topped by a martini-glassed Manhattan was set before me after being asked if I wanted an orange peel, brandied cherry or both. (I asked for the cherry.) And it was good!After the bands finished I noticed lots of screens in the various rooms with different sports and shows being shown. We went down a few stairs and played a game of pool. Nice! It seems that there's lots to do and enjoy for an evening if you can find the place! Only downside, it needs better signage!!

This was such a great find. Great selection of liquor that you wouldn’t normally see at a regular bar. Gave a very exclusive allocation vibe. The bartender Jamie was really knowledgeable about various types of bourbon and offered a flight tasting which was fantastic. Found a new favorite bourbon to drink thereThere was also an open mic night with comedy, music, poetry and other shenanigans.Definitely a great whiskey bar in Santa Rosa.

Went here last Wednesday (karaoke night) and had a blast! The bar tenders were attentive and pleasant. The drinks were great. The DJ running karaoke was AMAZING. She has an awesome singing voice and she kept things flowing at a great pace. It was my first time singing karaoke and she was very supportive. She even stayed a little bit late and chatted us up. I really couldn't ask for more from this experience.

Great Halloween and new years Eve parties and now that they're staffing up the bar it's even better
I went for a Halloween party, so my review might be skewed, but this place got packed. When we walked in they were playing some rock/metal type music inside. The bar tenders were attentive. They have a really great outside space with a deck and had mexican food items for sale.

On a hot day, it smells like a bathroom inside the bar. They should definitely use the AC. My friend ordered a beer from tap and it was kinda warm. Also, the constant punk rock / metal music playing was enough to make me want to poke my eardrums out with a chop stick. If it wasn’t for the live music show (way better music!) outside I would not have stayed.I miss when it was Giga’s and they would utilize that awesome BBQ pit they have out back.Also, only one pool table now.

This place has great events, outdoor area in back is comfortable, bathrooms, grill food basics. The bartenders are city life class! Alone or with friends, you'll have fun. I saw ages from 20s to 70s this month, may 2022.
