Willi’s Wine Bar

My husband and I love Willi's. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We've been there for lunch, happy hour and recently for dinner. The food is consistently great, the service is attentive and fast. It is our go to place every time we get to Santa Rosa.

Thank you Berto for a lovely visit. Perfect pacing, perfect appetizers, perfect cocktails. Lunch was lovely. The ladies had a wonderful time catching up. See you again!

The menu is cool. We enjoyed everything we chose except the bone marrow, which was overly fatty and had little substance. We wish the wine list was larger, but we especially enjoyed the Ehret Cab.

Wonderful meal(s)! Tuna tartare, crab tacos, asparagus with fabulous sauce and poached egg, halibut in another amazing sauce with veggies and duck on polenta. So many excellent Gluten free options! And the server was especially helpful with my need for nightshade free options as well. She was thoughtful and charming and professional. We loved being able to eat outside. But mainly the food was just excellent, an exceptional treat! Thank you open table for making the reservations easy too.

Their muffins, freshly baked daily in the house, made their filet mignon sliders outstanding. Everything else we ordered was also fresh and delicious. Dined on Saturday for lunch. Would definitely come back.

While in Sonoma for a few nights we stopped in here for cocktails before having dinner elsewhere on a weeknight. The bar here was rather busy when we arrived, but we still got a couple of seats at the bar. Service was excellent at the bar, the bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a very nice wine list, flights, and a great cocktail program.
The food we saw coming out looked great, but as I mentioned, we only went for drinks. Definitely would return!

Small plates style dining. Excellent wine list (large, huge number of BTG and small vs standard BTG pour options). happy hour with very limited specials. Knowledgeable servers, many small plates were quite small (2 bite sized sliders), vegetarian ones but more generous (warm spinach). Outdoor front area charming, outdoor side tables basically look at parking lot and back door.

Oysters, tuna tartare and fried calamari — delish! Crab tacos — lacking in flavor, bland mayo overshadowed the crab. Yes it had a kick but spicy isn't flavorful. For a wine bar, fairly limited selection and expensive. Good service.

Out of towner, visiting Sonoma wine country. Researched best places to eat near/around Santa Rosa (where our AirBnb was). Our group LOVED the recommendation to eat at Willi's Wine Bar! We ordered several plates from the menu, shared them family style, and enjoyed 2 bottles of wine. EVERY dish we had was so fresh, flavorful, and presented deliciously! Highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike!

This is the best restaurant in Santa Rosa. This and. Rid and the Bottle. The food is always excellent, the service great. Our special occasion place and the place we take visitors.

Innovative menu of small plates. All we tried were tasty and the warm chocolate cake was delish. We were pleased that the bartender was willing to split the special Paloma cocktail. An enjoyable lunch.
