We've been to Willi's Wine Bar several times in the past. We've always enjoyed it and were looking forward to another good meal. This time the ambiance and service were up to par, but the food was not. Portions were good but many of the dishes were too salty for our tastes. Even the bread was salty!! We chose the outside seating on a cool evening. However, it was comfortable, even though I brought a jacket, but didn't need to wear it, and the outside heaters weren't on. So we were comfortable, and the outside seating was quieter than inside. The seats, however, were not that comfortable; my wife had to use her shawl as a "cushion." We were a little disappointed in the tenderness of the filet mignon sliders. We've ordered rhem Many times and they are always delicious. They were a bit tough and hard to chew this time. Everything else was delicious as usual.
