If you are in hunt for authentic zabhiha halal restaurant hands down this is one the best in north bay.. owner is very welcoming and food portion size is also generous. Also the cost is also very affordable and they have a lot Mexican options than Mediterranean.

Fresh, nice flavor, made with care. I very much appreciate the excellent customer service and thoughtfully made food. /// It's a bit confusing that the physical restaurant location has two different restaurant names, two separate websites, and separate menus. I humbly suggest that ZamZam and Zapata be presented as one restaurant with only one name, oen website, one menu, etc, with it's marketing being focussed on and the emphasis being that it's a halal restaurant providing (sometimes fused) cuisine from a few different culinary regions. Marketing the ethically produced meals would be a draw for many people, whether eating halal for religious, health or ethical reasons. (Note: the ZamZam website says in the welcome paragraph that it is located in Malden MA, while the other contact info on that website says it's in Santa Rosa. Kindly,

Food: We ordered 2 shawarmas, lamb and chicken. Menu says their wrapped in a lavash, but it looked like tortilla shells. I finished the lamb, it tasted ok, but not authentic enough. My wife didn't finish the chicken. It almost tasted like fajita chicken, not what she expected. I could have given 1 star, but since I finished my shawarma/burrito-2 stars.
Service: no complaints, especially when switched our order from dine-in to takeout. They accommodated that request with no problem.
Atmosphere: it was a hot day, and they had no AC. That's why we decided to take our food home instead of dining in. Plus, the decor and signage is confusing. I saw ZamZam and Zapata signs outside. Inside, there were nice looking murals of a Hispanic motif. Is this a Mexican or Mediterranean restaurant? The food suggests a fusion of both cultures. That's cool if that's what they're going for, so there should be just one name for the establishment.

Worst food ever had. Not a chicken over rice. Its some boiled chicken pieces mixed with salsa over some regular rice. Unfortunately I couldnt eat the food I ordered. The “white sauce” on the food was split as well.

Best food
Owner Hamza is so kind. 100% recommend
Price is very affordable
I feel like the kitchen is very confused here. I ordered from Zamzam about $75 worth of food.
My chicken shawarma wrap was a giant tortilla full of steaming hot lettuce. All the vegetables were hot when they shouldn’t be, and there were soggy fries in there which was not advertised. The whole thing was a disaster. I ate the chicken out and threw the rest away.
The other thing is instead of tzatziki/yogurt sauce they gave us ranch!?
This restaurant needs to figure out what’s going on because this was awful. I’m eating garlic fries and hummus for dinner now.
Great service, very tasty food. Sure will order more

Great place for take out, it’s in a corner store so eating there is sorta like eating at a Safeway. They need to work on their consistency but honestly I don’t really care given the quality for the price and recommend them, especially the shawarma wrap.
