Brothers Restaurant at the Red Barn

It was our 30th wedding anniversary and they put us in the middle of the front room right by the kitchen and where all the traffic was. It was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. I don't expect special service however, for our 30th anniversary, you would think they would at least put us at a table in a better location. Seriously, it was the worst table in the entire restaurant.

Great place for dinner for any occasion. The atmosphere is casual and the food is outstanding. The basket of breads had delicious cornbread and rosemary bread. The steaks and sides were delicious - cooked and served to perfection. The kitchen seems to run like clockwork and the wait staff is on point.

Top notch from start to finish. First time at this unassuming place in Santa Ynez. I started with the Guzzler cocktail. Ketel One pomegranate and lime...quite tasty. My wife ordered the Rainbow trout which was accompanied by mashed potatoes and PERFECTLY prepared green beans and carrots. The trout was expertly prepared, sauced just right. No bones to be found. I ordered the prime rib, medium rare. It was THE BEST prime rib I've had on the Central Coast!! Perfect temp, tender and not loaded with globs of fat. It was seasoned perfectly as were the vegetables and potatoes. The bread basket provided after we sat down had cornbread, focaccia and sliced sourdough. Again, exceeded my expectations. Service was prompt and comfortably professional. What a great find! Will DEFINITELY return with more people.

First time visit to this restaurant while on vacation. What a great experience! The food and service were outstanding! Really enjoyed the salad with blue cheese, the tuna and avocado appetizer and the rack of lamb - 4 double chops. Nice wine choices by the glass. Definitely worth a visit!

If there’s one thing I can’t pass up in Santa Barbara county, it’s THIS restaurant. We do a trip to wine country every year or two and we stop here for dinner. Amazing wine list, fantastic service, and the food… incredible. You know those meals that every single bite is as good as the first? This is one of those places. My husband and I both ordered the lamb, and zero regrets. So incredibly tender and juicy. They make their own breads too and the focaccia is seriously the best bread I’ve ever had from a restaurant.
The vibe is always spot on as well. Great for a date night, birthday, graduation, or just because. Do not overlook this place!!!

Our server Cat was amazing, as was the rest of the wait staff! Food was great & they brought us a special dessert for our anniversary! We always eat there every time we visit Santa Ynez!

Outstanding food, great staff (attentive but not pest), relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant its prime rib, steaks, or seafood. Even the bread basket was outstanding.

Not enough words to describe our server Kat she was super attentive and the food was beyond delicious. Too bad I couldn't eat it all at once, even leftovers were delicious. Thank you, everyone for making us feel welcome/special.

Extraordinarily good food. Attentive yet not disruptive service. White linen with a locals' flair. The rack of lamb was succulent and beautifully plated. The filet with port and cheese sauce was perfection.

Brothers at Red Barn is our favorite restaurant in the Valley. Yes it was noisy, because it is very popular, and in addition, it was the early start to a holiday weekend. But the food is great, the wines are a generous pour and service was perfect.

Celebrated hubby's birthday with friends. I feel this is one of the best restaurants in the SYV! Great service, excellent food, and fun atmosphere... trifecta and perfection. Well done Red Barn !!
