Brothers Restaurant at the Red Barn

Very nice evening dinner with my wife. Service was great, food was good, and so our evening was pleasant. Will be back when we're Santa Ynez again!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the prime rib and rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection! The string beans and carrots tasted ad if they picked them from a garden in the back, so fresh and perfectly sautéed. The mashed potatoes were very good, just a bit salty but still good and fresh. Our server Aimee was the best. She made us feel so welcome, and we are grateful. We recognized one brother for sure and we think the other was there as well. They truly are hands on! It was so impressive to see them back there cooking, sweating and working so hard for their customers. Ambience and even the bus guys were wonderful. We cannot wait to go back.

All our meals were very good. Our server, I wish I could remember his name, was so friendly and attentive. We arrived early and they accommodated us. The birthday dessert was a nice touch.

Perhaps a bit pricey, food is tasty, service is exccellent but very noisy and frantic, skip this place if you're looking for a quiet evening.

Another stellar evening at the Red Barn. Great cocktails, delicious dinner, and Junior took great care of us once again. Have been dining here since I was a kid, when the Borkmans had it. Matt & Jeff do everything right, so lucky to have this gem. Favorite Valley restaurant.

We were craving some chicken with mashed potatoes, and we went to the right place! The au jus in place of gravy was excellent. We lucked out and got to sit on the patio due to a mistake on our part regarding the reservations. (Accidentally, we made the reservations for the next day.) Instead of them telling us that there was no room, they sat us on the patio. At first, there were two tables with customers, but within a short time, we had the quiet patio to ourselves. Great food. Great service. Great environment. Great place to celebrate my birthday!

Always love coming to the Red Barn especially for a special treat, like a birthday. Wonderful service and food , I love the Salmon dish and tuna tartar and wedge salad. They put together a special dessert plate for my birthday which was very sweet. Their bread is excellent as well. Everything was wonderful, thank you!

Birthday celebration with daughter and adult grandson. Wonderful, friendly service. Meats cooked perfectly, vegetables cooked, but still crisp. We shared a Huge dessert- Mud Pie. We all agreed the Red Barn was a perfect choice and the meals were delicious.

The food was exceptional and the service was above and beyond! If you are anywhere near this place and you don't stop you are truly missing out. My hat is off to you guys, Thanks for everything!

This is a great place to eat in Santa Ynez. I had the prime rib and my wife had the diver scallops. The prime rib was tasty but not as tender as places that specialize in prime rib. The diver scallops were delicious. My only minor complaint was the per glass wine cost. They have a limited selection of wine per glass and the only Pinot Noir offered was 20 dollars for a normal size pour. Being in wine country, they should expand their per glass offerings. The dessert, strawberry shortcake, was absolutely delicious and the hospitality and service were truly top notch. We will definitely return.

Nice local feel and atmosphere. The wedge with blue cheese was tasty with a generous portion. The bread basket has the kind of bread that nobody really wants. Except for the sliced country loaf. My filet mignon was floating in a red wine not too reduced soup. I really needed a sponge to blotter up half of the liquid that was placed on the plate . The potato gratin had way too much onion and cheese.. The grease from the potatoes competed with a soup of the red wine sauce for the steak. Since I love the atmosphere, I would to order my steak without any of the goop. 

Always an incredible experience. Quality is the Brothers mandate and the dishes always look and taste fantastic. The staff who work there from the host to servers are all very nice and make you feel at home.

Delicious meal & great service. Nice ambience. I ordered a special seared scallops on top of pork belly with carmelized apples. This dish should be added to the menu. It was outstanding!

The Brothers Restaurant at Red Barn is likely the best restaurant in the Santa Ynez Valley. Food is ALWAYS perfectly prepared, served hot and excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. You cant find a better meal or a restaurant that has been consistent in it's quality since the day it opened. You absolutely need a reservation.

Brothers is always consistent. Cat was excellent in her service. Food was excellent. Brothers is the best all-around restaurant in north Santa Barbara County
