Brothers Restaurant at the Red Barn

Our waiter and the entire staff was very attentive and friendly. We are new parents and taking our little one out has been an experience for sure, but the staff was amazing with him, they interacted with him and made us feel welcomed. The food is always very good, I stick to what I know which is the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, the chicken was tender and juice paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes and veggies. My table was very pleased with their entrees as well we all left with full bellies and an excellent dinning experience.

We are so glad we chose to go to dinner at Brothers at the Red Barn. From start to finish it was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. (All of the waitstaff was wonderful and attentive!) We both ordered the filet and we were not disappointed! They were so flavorful, cooked to perfection and the sides were excellent too! There's no doubt that we will be back!

We travel to the area every July and go the Brothers Restaurant during our vacation and this is the 2nd time this has happened so I thought I should review the restaurant. There are a few things I am particular about with food. If I order soup, it needs to be piping hot and I always let the waiter know my expectations. Last year as well as TY, I ordered their Onion Soup and specifically that it be REALLY hot. I had it as my main course since I wasn't crazy hungry so they served it with my husbands meal. It came and it was ONLY warm, again. My guess is that the soup was cold, they put it in the oven long enough to melt the cheese on the top and they thought it would heat the soup enough but it did not. I took 2 bites and decided I would send it back to be heated up (hoping they would just microwave it). It was taking them so long, my husband finished his meal and they still hadn't brought it back. I finally just cancelled the soup and left the restaurant without eating. I did have an appetizer that was just OK (Shrimp Cocktail--Shrimp was good, Cocktail Sauce tasted like it came from a jar). My husband got the Halibut special on Vegetable Rice Pilaf. He said the Halibut was excellent but there was something VERY SOUR in the Rice Pilaf the was so over the top sour and off putting, it spoiled the dish for him. Sadly, I don't think we will be returning to Brother's Restaurant at Red Barn.

This is a great restaurant. I wish I lived closer to visit more often. Excellent service. Delicious food.

Loved dinner at Brothers! The New York strip was outstanding and very flavorful! And the service was outstanding especially Daniel the manager. Can't recommend enough if you are in the area!

Good food. Good service. WAY overpriced - NYC menu charges for Santa Ynez dining. Twenty dollars for a side salad...? Sixteen dollars for a bowl of corn chowder? Tasty but crazy.

Good is always amazing here, the atmosphere is casual. This place never disappoints! The lamb is outstanding and the portions are huge! The chicken is juicy and yummy too!

Wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary there. Everything was amazing, from the food to the service. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

This is are favorite place to dine! The staff is aways so lovely and never had a bad menu!

The Red Barn is our go to for the best dishes, including those fantastic desserts. Everything is served to perfection, and the service is always great. Just make sure to make reservations in advance as they are usually packed. Thank for always treating us well!!

The pinnacle of a dining experience - corn soup was magical , halibut was cooked exactly right, and the brown butter ice cream was unforgettable. The service cannot be matched. It is all perfection!

My rack of lamb was cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive, friendly and fun. The rocket launch was an unexpected delight! Great meal and wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back the next time I am in the area.

Food is excellent as is the service. Even the complimentary bread is delish, had the rib eye for the main course.

High end food and service in Santa Ynez. A nice mix of people, great food and drinks.
