My guy and I really loved everything about Brothers at the Red Barn. It had come highly recommended by several foodie friends. The last time I was in Santa Ynez I had wanted to have lunch there, only to find out it would not be open until dinner. This time we made a point of staying the night in town, an early birthday treat, for the express purpose of being able to have dinner there. It did not disappoint. They actually texted us in advanced of our reservation and said they could seat us early. First time Ever! Service was excellent . Just enough attention, not overdone. Both of our selections was one of our Best Meals compared to many restaurants here and abroad. A bit noisy , but it's a popular place. We will go back again soon.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the prime rib and rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection! The string beans and carrots tasted ad if they picked them from a garden in the back, so fresh and perfectly sautéed. The mashed potatoes were very good, just a bit salty but still good and fresh. Our server Aimee was the best. She made us feel so welcome, and we are grateful. We recognized one brother for sure and we think the other was there as well. They truly are hands...
