This is a great place to eat in Santa Ynez. I had the prime rib and my wife had the diver scallops. The prime rib was tasty but not as tender as places that specialize in prime rib. The diver scallops were delicious. My only minor complaint was the per glass wine cost. They have a limited selection of wine per glass and the only Pinot Noir offered was 20 dollars for a normal size pour. Being in wine country, they should expand their per glass offerings. Nice local feel and atmosphere. The wedge with blue cheese was tasty with a generous portion. The bread basket has the kind of bread that nobody really wants. Except for the sliced country loaf. My filet mignon was floating in a red wine not too reduced soup. I really needed a sponge to blotter up half of the liquid that was placed on the plate .
