Decent food, atmosphere and service but unreasonably high prices, hence poor value overall. Ultimately the manager did the right thing by deducting the $10 surcharge for an extra side of rice and bean (yes a $10 surcharge that the waitress did not mention) on top of the $44 price tag for basic chicken fajitas (yes that’s $54 total for fajitas, ladies and gentlemen!). A perfect ending to a perfect day in Santa Ynez valley. Great company, great conversation, stiff drinks (Substituted Mezcal for Tequila in our Margaritas) and stellar service. My brother and sister-in-law are strict vegetarians. When we realized their vegetarian tostada's came with Mexican rice cooked in chicken stock, our hostess Kaitlyn was personification of equanimity and professionalism. We have been coming here for a long time and typically are very impressed with each visit. However, this visit warrants a review. The food was great, as always. The service however, was awful.
