Imagine Wine is our favorite wine in the Santa Ynez area. My husband and I are members there and pick up our wines 4 times a year. Because we're members, we get free wine tastings. Every type of wine they make is absolutely delicious ! Toss, the winemaker is able to keep his prices super low compared to the prices of other delicious bottles at other wineries in the area. The wine tasting room is unpretentious located on a street in Buellton with a few other tasting rooms. It's just a small tasting room and patio. Nothing else is needed because the wine is so delicious.
I've never been to a wine tasting where every.single.wine was absolutely delicious. The owner was awesome, the stories were amazing. I can't remember having such a special time at a tasting before. I would recommend this SO much!
Ross was an excellent host to our group. We had an amazing time sampling 6 different wines and had the opportunity to try 3 samples of the same wine from different years. We could all tell just how passionate Ross was about his wine and how knowledgeable he was. We all had a good time and learned more than we were expecting.
A must visit. Boyd is an excellent host. Beautiful wine.
Great wine, great tasting room
The wine tasting experience was exceptional as the wines are truly delicious. Ross, the winemaker, poured for us and he expertly described the making of each yummy wine. We bought plenty and even joined their wine club. Highly recommended!
Lyn Dee was a wonderful host. The wine is fantastic, and it's a great little location with some wonderful winery neighbors
This was a wine tasting, no food. We tasted 7 wines, all were excellent and we talked with the wine maker the entire time. My wife drinks whites, I drink reds. i tasted the whites and they were very good, the reds were outstanding. Another important distinction here is the age of the wines. None of the wines were younger tha two years and we tasted two that were from 2009. Since the wines were not just bottled, you can get a real sense of the taste. Not to be missed.

Had an excellent afternoon tasting with the owners of Imagine. Fantastic lineup of wines showcasing the diversity of the central coast and Santa Ynez Valley. Zinfandel, Barbera and Syrah are all a must-try.

Imagine Wine is an excellent stop. The wine itself is unique in the area, and Ross, the owner, provides a very thorough background of his wines and why he does what he does. Highly recommended
The winemaker is generous with his time, explaining his process, or talking about what he has fermenting for the future. I like the nuances in the reds.
The Garagist movement is alive and going strong. You can definitely experience it here. Sapien is a personal favorite. The wine maker Trevor Bethke is a guy that definitely knows his wine and takes pride in what he makes, a rarity in many of the wineries and tasting rooms in Santa Ynez valley.
