This place was amazing! We stopped to charge the car and got lucky they were still open. The fried pickles appetizer was the BEST! I had the chicken pot pie, it was cold out and I wanted comfort food. My friend had the brisket sandwich. The fries were fresh cut. Everything was SO delicious, the waitress was super friendly and the restaurant is very charming. I can’t wait to go back. 13/10

Very busy for the middle of nowhere. Great meal. Was able to sit outside with our two black labs.

Nice place , stop by before you get to julian Main Street. It's a spot, so you avoid the long lines at julian Main Street.

My friends meet here for breakfast every other month when we go east.
Today the young man serving us worked very hard to make our visit great.
He made sure to get our complex order correct and offered suggestions on how to plate our meal.
He was attentive and a great face for the restaurant.

I kept thinking about this place on my ride home, trying to reconcile how such a quality eatery could exist in a roadside pitstop "town". Also, I was kicking myself for not discovering this joint sooner after driving through there many times on my way to and from Julian.
Skip the Julian restaurants, come here.
I can tell the menu is made by an experienced chef, and comes from a chefs heart. Everything is from scratch, the bread is quality, the portions aren't skimped, every detail is cared for, even the napkins seem like they match the decor with no expense spared
The Reuben, which can often a disappointment when you're trying a restaurant for the first time, was fantastic. The fries are fresh not frozen. My family's meals were just as good (I made sure to try).
This place could do very well in a metro area, but I'm happy it's here to serve my Julian road trips going forward.

We were pleasantly surprised that their wings were absolutely delicious! Crispy and cooked to perfection. Salt and vinegar was seasoned perfectly - not pucker your mouth strong. BBQ is also delicious.
Great service, we waited a bit to get seated and it was totally worth the wait!!

So disappointed! Several menu items looked aaaaaaamazing, and I was really excited to go. But they close at 5 pm? On a weekend? Why would you have and advertise a dinner menu if you're not actually open... for dinner? Sad face.
I d give you 5 stars, but putting cole slaw or whatever it was (lettuce with too much mayo) on my Double Cheese Burger vs lettuce is an illegal maneuver. It made the burger soggy and not that enjoyable. Also, for 42 dollars for burger, fries, and tiny coke I am going to be more picky.
