Multiple times lately I've tried to go here and they have been closed. This wouldn't be an issue if they had a phone# to call ahead to check but they don't, unacceptable.

I went to the cooler about 4 months ago and it was the only bar open in Julian that offers cider that was open on a Thursday!! I've been going here ever since. They have decent prices on cider a pitcher is about $28 ($33 after tip) I love the atmosphere and music while I drink my cider the bar tender is always nice and helpful. It's never crazy busy when I come around 12-2 which is fine by me because I can get social anxiety

Ok, Dave is the coolest......get it! His knowledge about the products is amazing. Great venue for motorbike enthusiasts. Games, pool, and convenance with hardware, wine and tacos nearby. I highly recommend that you drop by and visit. Check out that awesome patio out front..

Driving up to Julian we heard live music here and decided to stop and walk around. This place has cold beer on tap and cold wine. A pool table and games. A friendly place to sit and listen to the live music while enjoying a cold beer. The music was great. Ask for Dave at the bar, he can recommend a good beer!

Hanging out for some local live music and the COOLER is a pretty awesome spot to get some cold beer hang out with cool people and the bartender Talia is as sweet as some of the beverages she serves
