By far, one of my top five favorite pizza places in San Diego/East County. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza and it is my most favorite food. I got the supreme pizza which was delicious, but due to all of the toppings, the pizza did have a lot of flop, but I also got a pepperoni pizza and it was almost perfection. The pizza had a nice undercarriage with little to no flop and the crust had a beautiful chew to it. My only critique is to use better quality, natural pepperoni other than...
Calzonis are authentic. I'm picky about my calzone after living on Sardinia. Tommy's fills the bill. I noticed the fillings (same as toppings) were fresh, and they didn't taste recently defrosted like most do. Antipasto was also what I expected. Nice folks!
I order pretty much every week from Tommy’s and absolutely love the pizza and sandwiches. I highly recommend for the food. I have always had great service and interactions with the owner, as well as, the young girl who used to work behind the counter. The guys making the pizza even have great attitudes.
