We ordered a whole bunch of dishes and midway through eating, the waitress came and told us that she needed the table in about 30 minutes even though we still hadn't finished ordering nor was the place even remotely full. Seemed like the waitress wasn't ready to cater to a set of folks who were placing orders as and when we wanted during our lunch -- they did however charge 20% gratuity. While the rest of the folks at the restaurant seemed cordial, the waitress made our experience really miserable. There are other reviewers too who, over a long period of time have commented about rude staff -- so it seems like I'm not the only one. I would strongly recommend against eating here as a result.

We were here in a big group past weekend. There wasn't much crowd as we got here around 3. We ordered plenty of food and drinks that our bill exceeded $850! However, the waitress was damn rude ever since we got there. She talked rudely, took our order with a weird expression and then even asked us to have the table for dinner reservations and it wasn't even 5pm. I haven't seen a restaurant that treats it's customers so rudely in California! I wouldn't recommend going here and would love to know what actions the management takes about this.

My family and I went to Bella Saratoga for a birthday dinner on Sunday evening. We had an amazing experience because Ben, our server took such good care of us ..making excellent food and drink suggestions and generally taking good care of our group. We ordered the carpaccio appetizer as well as the mushroom and polenta appetizer and the artichoke appetizer... all 3 were very tasty. I ordered the Sea bass special and thought it was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the other entrées that my family ordered included the lasagna, the short ribs, steak, and pasta with blue crab- everyone thought their food was delicious. I can't say enough about the quality of the food and friendly service at this local gem.

Looking for a new (old) favorite in Downtown Saratoga? Stop into the New Bella which used to be the (old) Bella, if you remember. Well, it's just as good and even has a few new items for your enjoyment.

Bella Saratoga never disappoints. The service was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The meals were delicious and the dessert menu was a ‘disaster', in the best way possible. Too many good choices makes it really hard to decide. Can't wait to come back.

Bella Saratoga has been our go-to for a nice quiet romantic dinner out for many years. The restaurant has been updated in the past few years, new flooring, tables and chairs and decorations, but the menu remains the same and all very good. We went on the Thursday after Valentines Day, to avoid the rush, but all the Valentine decorations were still up, and it was really nice and romantic. The soft bread and cheese spread is fantastic, the wine list is excellent, the service very attentive, and the meals have always been uniformly excellent. I had the seafood pasta, my wife the lobster raviolis, and everything was cooked to perfection. This is a neighborhood gem, and we'll keep coming back!

Let me just start off with saying WOW!!! From the moment we walked in we were immediately greeted and sat by Francesco. We were promptly brought menus and shortly after ordered drinks. Francesco politely asked if he could make us some specialty drinks which we agreed to. If you have the opportunity to try a drink made by him that's not on the menu, DO IT! The drinks were absolutely delicious and really made our night. The food was incredible and the service was 10 stars. Francesco, thank you for making our experience so wonderful. We will absolutely be back!
This was a Valentine's Day lunch with my wife, and we were seated on the second floor. The restaurant was somewhat empty- I was a little nervous as to why. Service was excellent and staff checked on us periodically without being overly involved. Both meals were hot and delicious, and we saw many good selections. Cost was very reasonable- particularly by today's standards. Overall- a great meal. We'll be back and are spreading the word.

A friend, whose recommendations are always great, recommended this place. The setting is different from your typical restaurant because it's a converted house ?. We ate on the second floor and I kind of felt like I was eating in someone's bedroom ?. I also felt bad for the server who had to carry so much food for our large family up the flight of stairs.The food itself was good though not cheap (averaged $60+ per person and we did not order any alcohol). The eggplant ? parmigiana was a bit of a disappointment, the salmon ravioli portion was small but otherwise people were happy.

The food was great! my family loves this place and the food is italian nana approved!! Highly recommend. Went on a Monday and waited to be seated for our reservation. Service could've been a bit more attentive at the start. Highly recommend!

I definitely would recommend it, and their bread and butter is just totally different flavor, reminds me of European flavors ?Vegetarian options: We had artichokes from Appetizers and eggplant Parmigiano, we replaced pasta with veggies and everything was good ?
