Good coffee.
But. Finding actual eggshells in my food completely killed my appetite and ruined the entire experience. Because of that, I highly recommend that you just stick to the coffee if you visit this cafe. If you are really starving, do yourself a favor and only get their ready-made packaged items instead of ordering any of their cooked meals. Honestly, their cooking skills are absolutely awful and there is zero attention to detail in the kitchen. The only saving grace is that their coffee is actually pretty nice

Americano + latte = 14.57.
Overpriced/ cold and slow service
The coffee and latte were both watery. Blueberry lavender latte was made by the cheap syrup that you can buy in grocery stores easily.
Ordered to-go but come with a for-here cup…

Loved the Bourbon Vanilla Latte and Americano. Also the veggie lasagna and chicken sandwich were great (forgot to take the pictures lol).

I was in town for a wedding and this was my go-to coffee spot for the trip. Also had a turkey-swiss-avocado on sourdough the day of the wedding which was amazing. There’s something that can’t be overstated about simple food done very well. I’m usually not a fan of catered food at events like weddings, it never gets to you at the right temperature, and it kinda freaks me out to know they essentially just have a lot of mass produced food in portable warmers nearby. I showed up early for pictures with this amazing looking sandwich, and everyone knew what was up. They wished they’d done the same. Unfortunately the wedding was called off due to a particularly passionate debate over whether pineapple should be put on pizza, so the real winner here was me, with that delicious turkey-avocado-Swiss on sourdough, lightly toasted with fresh lettuce and tomato, watching the various wedding factions descend into fits of pizza rage. Don’t get pizza. Get a sandwich. From Big Basin.

When I walked in, there was an Asian girl sweeping the floor. She acted like she didn’t even see me. I was literally standing at the counter for five minutes, waiting for someone to serve me. I actually had to speak to her and ask her if she worked there And she was like yes do you want something. They need to fire that girl because her customer service is horrible. There was a heavyset guy who was pretty nice and actually told me to have a nice day.

We like Big basin Cafe.. it’s not just a coffee shop.. coffee and food or pastry are great!
Big Basin Cafe attracts us most is its uniqueness. In the café, you can see many people interacting; it's a humanistic café with warmth and connection.😁

Coffee was ok, nothing very special, so was almond scone. Coffee is on expensive side also, large size almost costing $10. Atmosphere is nice. I like how they have one side of seating wall giving view of the street and also outside seating which is relaxing and have a vintage feeling.

Great place for a coffee and scone before riding up into the mountains. Coffee was HUGE so the price was justofoed.
A coffee shop that does not have a drip coffee available? The staff was more interested in closing for the holiday than serving customers. Boo...

Coffee is good but the breakfast burrito was pretty bad. It tasted like liquid carton eggs and microwaved bacon. Wouldn't eat here again.
Love this cozy spot! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered the broccoli cheddar quiche which was good!
