One of the few places left that have zucchini fries, I got a cheese burger and zucchini fries combo. The burger was juicy and had lots of toppings. The zucchini fries were the long style ones, not coin style, but they were still delicious. I also had a slice of a friend's pizza. The crust was that perfect kind of crunchy on the outside soft on the inside with a good yeast dough flavor. They had many other items on the menu too.

They have sports on TVs and a bar. The bucket of chicken wings was good. Their pizza uses fresh ingredients. This is a favorite for many families who have been customers for decades. Plenty of parking. The service is the best.

Jake's of Saratoga is a "Happenin' Place" in the Bay Area... great food, staff, and atmosphere. Paul, the Manager, runs a tight ship there... never a bad meal or complaint. Great WiFi too, very fast to get "stuff" done on your lunch break. Lots of HiDef TV's to watch all sorts of sporting events. Been going here off and on since Jake's opened. Jake's has THE perfect straws for creating "Water Worms." ; )Parking: It gets crowded on the weekends or major sporting event.Kid-friendliness: Video games available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access and large single restrooms.
Been going to Jakes of Saratoga for over 35 years. Love their crust and great toppings. Only problem is their third party on-line ordering system. There is an estimated ready time which often has not bearing whatsoever in real life. There seems to be no feedback from the restaurant to the web provider as to how busy they are.Tonight, I ordered at 5 minutes to 6:00 PM, estimated ready time was 6:21. We got there at 6:20 and wait time was 25 minutes. We got our pizza at 6:45. We live less than 1-1/4 mile from the restaurant and can be there when advertised. If we get there on time we wait. If we get there late, we risk the pizza sitting for a time and getting soggy. We always order vegetarian and that comes topped with fresh tomatoes. We love their crust, but not so much when soggy.The restaurant staff is terrific, the web site ready estimate sucks big time.Vegetarian options: We love the vegetarian pizza and Greek salad, but must admit to requesting Italian sausage added to the pizza.

Love the crust not too thin not to thick and nice and crunchy. Good tangy sauce and the cheese is flavourful. Friendly staff and good service. The pizza takes a little longer to cook but it's worth it.Parking: Extra parking in the back.
