We loved our food! Very delicious and the services was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome. My only complaint would be the ambiance--the restaurant needs a serious remodeling. It's not what it was years ago.
For some reason the staff and owners think they are better than everyone else. Maybe they never left Saratoga.
I am writing this review to help people to don’t get frustrated coming here. Food is just OK, but for the price (which is not that much) it is a 1 out of 10.
Service is terrible and the staff is extremely arrogant. Save yourself some time and go to any other restaurant on this street.

We went to this restaurant with my husband, in-laws, and our 5-month-old baby. The receptionist was extremely rude from the start — instead of greeting us, he immediately said, “We can’t accommodate kids. We don’t have high chairs and can’t fit a stroller.” He didn’t even give us the chance to explain that we could simply hold the baby and didn’t need a stroller at the table.
I completely understand if a restaurant isn’t family-friendly, but there are respectful ways to communicate that. His tone and attitude were dismissive and made us feel unwelcome right away.
No matter how good the food might be, poor treatment like this completely ruins the experience. We’ll never go back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner and wonderful service last night. I had the cream of broccoli soup and Petrale Sole. Partner had the wedge salad and filet mignon. Spumoni for dessert, of course! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was attentive and kind.

An excellent if simplified collection of food. They have a wider selection than just French cuisine, with such items as Madras curry chicken and Wienerschnitzel. I had the Wienerschnitzel, and it was perfectly cooked with no need for extra sauces. I easily cut it with a fork! They do a great job with their salads, and the baked brie appetizer has just the right amount of baking. Definitely a recommended place.
Very good, but not a top quality French restaurant. Inexpensive. Wine by the glass available. Robin
Food was great, service very attentive. This restaurant had a very pleasant French vibe from the decor and background music.
If it's a French food choice between La Mere Michelle in Saratoga and Chez Philippe in Los Gatos, go to Los Gatos.
A lovely French food delight. Beautiful open windows with fresh air and light breeze. The food was delicious. The Caesar Salad was crisp and nicely dressed. Lovely veal piccata and rack of lamb. Veggies nicely prepared. If you enjoy French food, come and have a meal.
The waiter was fabulous, and so was the food. We went for our anniversary, and it was great. They were out of the escargot, but the waiter suggested a mushroom and prawn dish that was fabulous. Even the bread was great. However, the price was the best of all! Thank you so much for making our day great!

Lovely atmosphere.
The service was wonderful.
The food will get a thumbs up for sure.
A beautiful place to celebrate a wedding anniversary or even a marriage proposal. A very quaint restaurant.

The portions they serve are very small. Half of the restaurant was with the lights off, giving a feeling of little attendance.
Love the server mansur who's almost always working solo on the floor. Pace is slow here so please come with patience. Chef chooses seasonal ingredients and my mom just loves his mashed potato that comes with all the entree. He adds a different twist everytime. My favorite is the rack of lamb medium rare. Pate is good. My mom always goes for the fish and so far her fav is tye fish cake. Just come here and sit by the windows for car/people watching it's nice too!
Nice local French restaurant. This Saratoga is busy street but it has own parking lot
Pretty unimpressed. Went here for Valentine's Day. They have no cocktail menu. Service was slow. Caesar salad had WAY too much dressing. Steak was not cooked properly. Asked for medium rare and it was rare. Potatoes were cold. The place felt like a retirement home.
