Downtown Saratoga been in my life for over 20 years actually 2001 1st time. We ride the canyons to PCH it's a religious practice. Now in Southern CA coming here for funeral came to have a moment with the place and reflect on some memories. The cafe toward the entrance of hwy 9 had a line and was packed. The FLUFFIEST pancakes I’ve had in South Bay. So so good. And they did breakfast all day when I went for Wed lunch. This will be my go-to pancake cravings place now. Fries and everything else were good too. But those pancakes.
Don't understand the negative reviews: we've visited about half a dozen times. Staff is always courteous and efficient. Food is excellent ( we order stuffed French toast and Benedicts mostly).
Nick, the owner, was very responsive to our comments about the coffee being bitter, and has since changed it for the [much] better.
