The best restaurant in the Bay Area. Our server Amelio was outstanding. Extraordinary service. Outstanding food. They have a separate vegetarian menu which was great. 11 out of 10.

Terrible service, and unprofessional! Made a reservation here and inquired about changing the menu type for the night. They never called me back or followed up and I called beforehand so guess what? I changed my card number and simply didn’t show up. They of course unsuccessfully tried to charge me for not coming. All on Thanksgiving! Treat your clientele better :)

Watch out and I do not recommend this place - it’s a hot mess and service is terrible. It’s on the cheaper side for Michelins so we decided to come back and never again! I called to inquire about adjusting our reservation and they simply never bothered calling me back so we just didn’t even come again. Don’t support this lousy, unorganized restaurant

Truly spectacular food. Well worth the price. We left full and happy. The food is creative and refined but not pretentious. The service is suitably impeccable.

However, the playlist needs work. Funk didn't fit the atmosphere.

Service was rushed. Food was good but expected from a Michelin star restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant was dirty with some papers/ leaves on the floor, 3 people working at the front door saw it and nobody cleaned it. I don’t think I would go back again.

Going to the Plumed Horse is a life experience.
It's a Michelin star restaurant, so the food is amazing, but it is much more than amazing food. The presentation, the service, the atmosphere, they are all wonderful.
The staff work in concert to make the evening a memorable experience and bring the happiness.
It is certainly cost prohibitive, but if you can plan a night here, it's worth it!

The small plates were excellent but I was not impressed with the main courses and the dessert. I would rate it lower than most other Michelin star restaurants I have eaten at.

We had an epic meal, and an incredible wine experience, at Plumed Horse!

The food was perfectly executed across the board. Highlights for us included the halibut crudo, the steak, potato mille-feuille side dish, and for dessert the Paris brest.

What really defined and elevated this meal was the wine. Their cellar has great depth, including extensive champagne options and some very old and rare local cabernets.

The sommelier has a great sense of humor and a keen listening ear to understand the table’s interests. His pairing recommendations were perfectly on point. He very generously gifted not one but two very special bottles of wine to our table, which was completely unexpected and made our night. They say “game recognizes game” and I guess he thought we would appreciate the unique gifts that this restaurant can offer - which we certainly did!

I hope to come back soon, whether for a date night or for another outing with wine-loving friends.

Does not need an introduction. As good as it is. The food, wine pairings, service and ambience are all amazing and top notch. You get what you pay for, but what you get is just simply exceptional. 100% recommended.

We come to Plumed Horse once a month with the boys, and every time it's a flawless experience. The tasting menu is always a must, and everything from the service to the food is top-notch. The head chef never fails to impress with his flavors and creative dishes—it's no surprise this is the best restaurant in the South Bay and fully deserving of its Michelin star.

The Black Pepper & Parmesan Soufflé and the Dungeness Crab & Uni Fondue were absolute standouts, though it’s hard to pick a favorite with so many incredible options. Can’t wait for our next visit!

For a restaurant like this you set certain (high) expectations. But they were exceeded. We did the 4 course tasting menu and it was amazing. So will served, presented and delivered. Excellent taste and bite. Wine pairing was top notch. Service was on point. Just a unique experience!
