We had signature dishes, mussaka and gemista. Both these dishes were different from what we had in the past. We also had zahra.
They have outdoor seating. The service was slow.
Overall great food, good ambiance, but slow service.

I had a Sunday lunch here for the first time and ordered the Shwarma salad with lamb. Delicious with generous portions. Service was excellent! Nice casual environment. Will be coming here more often to try their other dishes.

Terrible service from the guy waiting tables!!!
The sea bass Branzino was excellent, and the hummus and pitas were delicious. The dishes and desserts were unique, with the chocolate mousse, baklava, and kanafeh standing out. The moussaka and kebabs were tasty, and the juicy roasted lamb shawarma was especially memorable. Everything was so flavorful that it made my mouth water.

Warm inviting atmosphere, excellent service and delicious, fresh cuisine! Lentil salad, pasta special and coffee was excellent!
Norma was wonderful and we felt so well taken care of! Will definitely come back when we are in the area!

If it were mediocre, I wouldn't feel obliged to write this review. But it's really disappointing.
Appetizer - their famous 6 sampler was just pita + 6 different sauces. Asymmetric portion bread but asking for more bread is not free.
Main course - their famous lamb tastes ok but the portion makes me believe that it belongs to the kid's menu. Shrimp pasta is my favorite but it also has a portion issue. Grilled chicken's quality is mediocre.
Conclusion: close to famous restaurant's price and portion but food court kind of quality.
Kid-friendliness: Not kids friendly.

FANTASTIC taste and extremely considerate service. Food is made fresh, so there may be a slight wait. However, it is WORTH THE WAIT. Trust.

We ordered hummus, salad, and a lamb skewer. The hummus and salad were okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the lamb had an unusual smell. When the server checked in at the end of our meal, I mentioned the issue. He seemed defensive and asked another table about their lamb, which they said was fine. However, this doesn't address our concern, as meat quality can vary. This is not the level of service we expect from such a restaurant!

I ordered a shawarma for dine in. Firstly it took them forever to bring me my food and the shawarma tasted so bad, it was the worst shawarma in Bay Area. At the end when I paid my bill I didn’t tip based on their service and food, even tho I always tip but they didn’t deserve it honestly however the owner said to me that I’m not welcome here again since I didn’t tip. So to the owner, sir tip is optional and it depends on the food and service that you provide. So if you want easy money please start a go fund me or start begging. Thank you.

Tamra Mediterranean has been on my Want-to-go list for a while after it was recommended by our neighbor. Finally, a friend and I made it for lunch.
I enjoyed my chicken shawarma wrap, I also took a bite off of my friend's lamb shawarma bowl. Another excellent choice.
The German weissbier hit the spot. We just split one bottle. We topped it off with a Mediterranean coffee and baklava.
The staff was very courteous and pleasing - definitely contributing to enhancing the dining experience.
A must repeat!

I eat a lot of Middle Eastern food so was excited to try this place. The service was nice but can’t say the same about the food. The grilled kebab was hard and rubbery, the humus was chalky and the babaganoosh watery and flavorless. Nothing we ate tasted like authentic middle eastern food aside from the pita and baklava. For almost $200 (4 people, no drinks) I did not feel it was worth it.
