There was plastic in my sushi. When I told the server she sent it to the chef and he replied that “it was a small piece”. I understand accidents, but to totally disregard this feels wrong. No matter how small the piece is, it shouldn’t have been in my food in the first place. This is definitely a safety and quality issue. I won’t come here again and wouldn’t recommend it for others.

Growing up in Saratoga, there weren’t many casual asian dining places nearby and Sushi Heaven has always been a staple restaurant for my family for weekend night out dinners. Sushi Heaven is not traditional Japanese, and has a variety of rolls that are fun to choose from and also has great bento boxes.
They also reasonably price Toro and if you’re lucky, you get decent cuts.
They take reservations and are busy during dinner times so call ahead or there is a waiting list.
