Met a colleague at a local wine bar.... First one said they were closing early.... Ok... Walked to the next. The other wine bar said they were closed, had at least six individuals drinking full glasses of wine. Refused service unless I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine Togo. I left.... Found the bank.... Met my colleague.... Dropped some cash at a great bar that appreciates customers. Later had a great meal... Dropped more cash at Burger Bar next door. My fault for leaving Woodside...
We went here for St Patrick's Day and it did not disappoint. In fact we loved it because it wasn't as crowded as we were afraid it was going to be, but it definitely was alive and happening. Great service and great down to earth atmosphere.My only major complaint was they did not take credit cards. I get they want to keep the cost down, but considering the drinks were so inexpensive, just bump the price up $1 to make even more money. We were having so much fun, but we...
This place did such a great job with us. Post-reception they let us take the entire outdoor area in the back. We were also demanding at the bar and they handled us well. There was I believe another post-reception party that was pretty annoying and the bar still did a great, great job. The drinks are standard local bar fare with some good local stuff.
